Oregon. I'm sure it wasn't on your list of dream destinations, but if it was, cross it off. The colleges here are all full of ugly nasty bitches that look like they're just waiting to start their own slutwalk so they can show off their armpit-beards. I've taken my son to all the major colleges here and keep telling him he should consider gtfo out of this state altogether.

Vegas was awesome last I lived there, but it's been about 10 years so I'd check if shit has changed.

edit: shit, i spoke too soon. shoulda known, of course there's been a slutwalk in oregon already! you know what, i would just google whatever city you're considering and add "slutwalk." if there has been or planning on one, cross it off too.

Seriously, GTFO of the big city... America is a huge country and there are LOTS of places in between NYC and LA -- mostly pretty affordable; and while they all have certain quirks and oddities, none of them (well except maybe Austin) is anything like as "weird" as the coasts.

Lemont, IL. It's a sweet little suburb south of Chicago. I can walk too the metra and the downtown from my house and I'm about 45 minutes from all the fun Chicago has too offer. Very affordable and very quaint.

I was born and raised and currently live in Dallas. It's big downfall is that it (the city proper, and not the suburbs) doesn't have much of a personality, and what little personality it does have is pretentious as fuck.

However, I don't mind it too much. But for me personally, it's a pretty easy place to go MGTOW when you're nothing like 99.9% of the population to begin with.

The last 3.5 years have lived in Pittsburgh. the Burgh is a terrific metro area for MGTOW:

1) Many manly men around who used to work in the steel industry before it cratered. Alcoa is still here and we're right on top of the Marcellus Shale for gas drilling (if that doesn't bother you).

2) Dating demographics are horrible, so you're not likely to get pestered by women. There are a lot of college kids who graduate and then move away. Then there is a big senior cohort, with Allegheny county being one of the oldest in the nation.

3) Plenty of outdoor adventure opportunities.

4) Plenty of healthy food available from the Amish if you know how to buy in to a crop share.

5) A budding entrepreneurial community that still lacks for leadership. There is opportunity here for rising stars.

6) Incredibly cheap to live here.

7) Midwest culture but close to the New England population centers.

Seriously, any man who wants to go Galt should seriously consider living here.

Alabama (Though it's probably a bad idea to say that.) It's one of the best places to see the worst of both liberal and conservative society. I can see tradcons getting whipped subtly and radfems reaming in the modern way. But, I occupy a remote area in the northeast part of the state; at least until I finally get out from under the guilt trip that keeps me alive.
