MRA - Tends to be a TradCon haven and has been infiltrated by female-MRAs. Appreciate what they're doing but they're not on my side as they're quite happy to go back to the plantation provided they get a couple of token legal protections.

PUA - Pretty much the personification of Leisure Suit Larry only without any of the charm or humour. I don't really care about PUA, I don't think about them at all.

TRP - Tends to be a TradCon haven but otherwise fine with those guys happy for them to do whatever they want, excepted they've been flanderised and turned into a caricature of themselves. They constantly have to define things as Alpha or Beta - it's as bad as those languages that gender inanimate objects - and feel the need to lash out at MGTOW for not blindly running after leathery Tinder whores.

Some TRP commentators started the whole thing a while back by saying MGTOWs were virgins, gay, involuntary celibate, etc. The sort of insults you'd expect from a woman trying to shame a man. There's no brotherhood because they'd throw another man under a bus for some leathery Tinder pussy and then pat themselves on the back for being 'Dark Triad'.

Actually in many ways they're the Betas they profess to hate so much, is there anything more beta than changing everything about yourself to attract and please a woman?

Let's face it, most of the hate is directed toward MGTOW.

I assume it is for the following reasons:

We are the fastest growing part of the manosphere
We have more numbers
We cannot be fucked with
Every attack has resulted in destruction of the attacking party (Matt Forney, Angelo John Gage, etc)
We're the only ones in the manosphere that are truly free.
Everyone eventually comes to MGTOW

First off, PUA is not a part of the manosphere. It's just an alternative bluepill matrix for betas who want to get laid desperately. They need it so desperately they spend hours everyday chasing women on streets. PUA is bluepill painted red.

TRP focuses on the knowlegde of men-women dynamics. It tries to find the pathways and rules to get success with women and it's more self-improvement based. Usually TRP guys are ex-PUAs wisened and alpha'd up. MGTOW is respected in TRP (except certain types of MGTOWs) but here people usually say PUA = TRP, which is wrong.

I like having sex, being alpha, improving myself, so that's why I browse TRP. On the other hand I do it for me, I know pussy ain't shit and I realize the fact that women are insanely self-absorbed short attention spanned fish-memoried bimbos, at least 95% of them if not all. So that's why I hang out on this sub.

TL;DR: Manosphere, unite!

From what I can see, no subset anywhere is a direct action group proactively trying to change the laws. Except maybe for Father's Rights. Getting into the legal system and actively trying to change the laws. That's what REALLY needs to happen.

TRP and MGTOW are closely related as they are still both red pill philosophy. MGTOW is more of an offshoot of TRP which has gradually been defined by online discussion in the last few years to become its own philosophy(although real MGTOWs have been around for decades without actually being labeled as such until recently). I wouldn't say TRP and MGTOW hate each other as they share a lot of core philosophies, eg never get married, focus on self improvement until you become more of a natural alpha male, don't put up with feminist games and female shit tests. The difference is mainly that MGTOWs reject cohabitation and LTRs as they feel it fails a cost/risk benefit analysis and they are slowly learning to live without female companionship and eventually ghost out of the flawed system that is modern society altogether. TRP has a strong belief that even though the system and female companionship are very flawed and the odds are stacked against men the game is still worth playing if you make the right changes in your life to maximize your success.

Redpill philosophies generally dislike PUAs because there is a bigger focus on using social cues and a bit of trickery to get women to sleep with them without ever actually changing themselves for the better long term. There are many stories of PUAs still getting fooled into paying for kids that aren't theirs, becoming blue pill providers, ect.

Men's Rights Advocates are generally disliked by Redpillers as many of them are still anti-feminist but are more focused on changing the government/society to be more fair to men without really recognizing that we are already in a fully gynocentric society and we are probably past the point of no return at this point unless there is some major disaster or world war that helps facility society change. There is much less of a focus on sexual strategy for men. I think many of them recognize the existence of the red pill but don't fully understand what it is and what it represents.

Everyone is too invested in saying they are right. MRAs think they can make a difference and that if you're a man and not an MRA, then you are wasting potential. TRP and MGTOW think the effort for social change is individually not worth it and don't care to be roped into MRA politics. Then TRP wants their dicks wet with a subversive contract of evaluating masculinity (or alfalfaness) by how many holes you stick it in and MGTOW has no fucks to give.

PUA is just a bunch of scam artists and their marks. I don't even see them as part of this conversation.

I don't know, but it sounds a lot like what Chogyam Trungpa called the "second Lord of Materialism" in his book Cutting through Spiritual Materialism:

Psychological materialism is the belief that a particular philosophy, belief system, or point of view will bring release from suffering. So seeking refuge by strongly identifying with a particular religion, philosophy, political party or viewpoint, for example, would be psychological materialism. From this the conventional usage of spiritual materialism arises, by identifying oneself as Buddhist or some other label, or by collecting initiations and spiritual accomplishments, one further constructs a solidified view of ego. Trungpa characterizes the goal of psychological materialism as using external concepts, pretexts, and ideas to prove that the ego-driven self exists, which manifests in a particular competitive attitude.

Another way to look at this teaching - we take belief in some idea as a key aspect of our self. Believing it feeds our ego - recently identified by Turd Flinging Monkey as [an enemy of man[(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUXyJ7P9Egc).

So going your own way needs to include letting go of MGTOW. It needs to be something you do, not something you are. Derive no identity from "I am a MGTOW"; rather, simply know that woman juice is not worth the squeeze.

This is why I get amused by squabbles over the definition of MGTOW. Those are people looking to nail down the constructs by which they will prop up their ego. It is much wiser to, in the words of the Logjong slogan, "Self liberate even the antidote."

PUA - TRP and MGTOW don't like PUA because PUA pedestalizes pussy. PUA has some useful information contained within that's relevant to MGTOW and TRP though but the PUA method relies more on rote memorization of lines and routines and techniques to use with one goal in mind. TRP - Is basically the self-help/self-improvement version of the manosphere. You can think of it more like the scientific version of PUA. While PUA figures out hat works they don't care about why it works. TRP cares about the nuts and bolts of society and social interaction. When things work they get spread to new arrivals like how lifting weights and getting in shape greatly improve your odds of getting women. TRP is concerned about getting pussy without being consumed by it. Things like getting better jobs and the like are also a part of TRP thinking.

TRP puts an importance on pussy of like 5 out of 10. It puts a higher priority on self-improvement than anything.

MGTOW - Consists of men who have been burned by women before and those men who have consciously made a decision that their lives are better with minimal (or in some cases none) female involvement. We take pussy off the pedestal completely and find it not worth our time.

MGTOW puts an importance on pussy of like 1-2 out of 10. It puts a higher priority on self-respect than anything.
