The gender wage gap is complete and utter propagandist shite. Women fresh from uni actually get employed easier and earn slightly more. But they work less overtime, less dangerous work, take out more vacation days and are generally not as productive as men. Then most eventually get kids and they leave the workforce for a couple of years. The wage gap is calculated with earnings over lifetime wages. This is exactly what I meant in a previous comment. Women are judged at much lower standards than men. Very, very few women succeed at anything- in their professional lives, in their romantic relationships or even on their own yet they expect the best of men.
