My #1 driving goal for the last 20 years has been the financial independence. Achieved it last year after selling my condo. The next goal was to retire into a LCOL area abroad this May. This pandemic has postponed it till the end of the year. Now, my goal is to continue enjoying my life while working remotely from home till December or so while preparing myself for that next life adventure. My goal in life is to achieve financial independence as well but in a way where I am somewhat rich ( sorry if it sounds childish) so I can create some way of helping abandoned animals in the future. After I broke up with a toxic ex back in September I took a good look at my life and realized my life was really revolving around her and not my life. I’m currently working at a retail job where I’m considered “essential”, I don’t mind working since I’m fortunate enough to still have my job during this pandemic so it’s ok. However customers are insanely stupid sometimes so I’m trying to bulldoze my way through college so I wouldn’t have to work at the job any longer. I want to be a police officer then get promoted to detective as I find cases to be investigated really interesting. I’m only 19 years old and I know I might change my mind on certain things but right now my main goal currently is to be able to soon quit retail and get a better job regarding criminal justice.

Unfortunately most answers you get will probably be money related. I disagree. Find something in life you are passionate about. A sport or a hobby usually. Most people I know whose main purpose in life is to make money are pretty unhappy.

Don’t get me wrong being financially independent is important, but not the meaning of life. As a Mgtow with no wife/kids/debt I don’t really need that much to live on.

My passion happens to be golf. I am obsessed with it. I enjoy playing it. I feel great when I play well. I do quarterly golf trips with friends. It gives me something to look forward to always.

Mine is currently to get out of the Redpill-Rage (lol), then focus on debt. I would love to try and do the entire "off the grid" thing, but with my autism and PTSD, that's not really an option. I do have my own place though, a large camper in great shape. Living in the country is ideal for me, and has done wonders for my stress levels. Plus I can move my house on-demand, lol. Mobility is a goal unto itself.

I'm of an age where building a retirement plan is quite necessary. Given that I'm not cut out for higher paying jobs, that's going to be a real issue. So first thing is to get debt-free. And my parents are quite old, so I want to be there for them at this time in their lives.

Honestly, getting off the plantation was the biggest goal of my entire life. I just didn't know that I was ever on it, and liberty was what I needed most of all.

My focus is keeping things running smoothly at the office so that my job doesn't become stressful. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's a *huge* deal for me to be able to wake up each morning and look forward to going to work. Hard to put a price on that. This allows me to build wealth slowly and in a stress-free way.

My most important focus right now is my son. He's a teenager and I want to be here for him until he's old enough to be on his own. That day is coming a lot quicker than I expected it to. The years are flying by, and I don't want to have any regrets as far as he's concerned.

My next most important focus is exercise. I've been working out consistently for over 40 years and I plan to continue for as long as I can. When I was younger I was in to several different martial arts, and weight lifting. Now it's yoga and weight lifting.

Third is financial independence. I own a couple of pieces of property and plan to make some changes over the next few years that will hopefully allow me to retire in about three years, and spend some time traveling and maybe living in another country for extended periods of time.

Hopefully, it will all work out.

All-focused goal: get out of debt.

That loan on the van I got? 72 months. Paid in 8.

That's the last outside of the mortgage. 30 years. If it lasts more than 3 I'll be frothibgly pissed.

I've cancelled my vacation this year, and with the exception of a lat pull down machine and a treadmill (because after this covid thing fuck the gym), every red cent I have goes to that mortgage.

No eating out, the only beer I drink is what I brew, because $0.42 for a beer is better than $1.60.

And best believe ill be looking for a 0 balance 0 interest balance transfer card to absolutely kill that mortgage interest the bank is after.

If I end up paying 10k in interest on a 90k loan, I'll be frothing pissed.

Mgtow lifestyle is what makes this possible. No wife, no girlfriend, no hookers even given this goal. Think this plan would be possible if I was buying lunches and dinners and shoes and ALIMONY?

No.

3 years. No mortgage. That is my goal and my focus.

To get in shape. I’m about fifty pounds overweight with about a 30%body fat percentage. I do a combination of intermittent fasting, low carb and calorie counting. I never eat processed foods and don’t consume beer or sugary drinks. The only sugar I consume are from berries or wine. I try to do fasted cardio as much as I can. My goal is to get to 155 and then start lifting. I tried to do a fully body recomp by just staying the same weight and replacing it with muscle but I actually just want to drop the weight this time and then take it from there. I’m actually far from financial independence, I have 120 K in student loans and almost 30k in CC debt. I had no family for a better part of a decade and had to do anything I could to survive. Instead of letting that lay me down, I’ve focused on fixing my poor body image.

Mine is to become indistinguishable from neurotypical people and even surpass them in some areas.

You have to know I'm an autist and interacting with other people (especially on a nonverbal level), organizing my life and handling stress can be difficult for me and so I decided to work on these things.

I want to be able to read the body language, facial expressions and tone of my opposites voice correctly, be able to spot jokes and sarcasm and express myself with those things. Apparently I already did a great job on this point. Everytime I tell someone that I'm an autist they're usually in disbelief and say they would have never guessed that.

For organizing my life there're already a lot of things that work perfectly, but some of my weaknesses are finishing errands on time, opening important letters and having a good weekly routine.

Handing stress however is one of my greatest issues. Sometimes I'm brilliant at finding solutions in a stressful situation or working under great pressure and can even outperform neurotypical people, but if the stress goes on for too long or gets to me it's pretty much over for me. Unfortunately our modern working atmosphere is all about being efficient enough and not breaking under huge pressure and such an environment is nothing but poison to me. And I know that employers might not give a damn about my (very serious) problems and want me to work like everybody else

So yeah, my big goal is to become a functioning, top-class member of this society. And I think it's something I must achieve to be able to live free and independent of others.

-->My key focus in life is to be the best parent I can be for my son. As such I will have to improve in a broad area of skills. I started with working out/being more active (which is fine because I like it) but then I have to move on to better diet choices so I can lead by example.

A tough fact I had to acknowledge was that to give my son the best possible chance, statistically speaking, he needs both his mother and father involved in his life. I am someone that prefers to do things solo if possible and it's tough to admit I will need help with him. It sucks that I cannot do it alone and double sucks the person I need help from has stabbed me in the back in the past. As much as I hate to admit it, you are only as strong as your weakest link and she's the first line of defense of the boy in my absence so...been trying to mutually work towards our son's success in a "ends justify the means" type of way." Since becoming aware of female nature I'd much rather work independent to reduce the chances of unnecessary bullshit from happening to him but, alas, it is what it is. I will remain vigilant.

--> As a subfocus independent of my "family" identity I been on a both physical and philosophical journey trying to answer "what it means to be a martial artist?" and how I can walk this impractical path in modern times with my obligations/responsibilities. Trying to achieve a balance of finding a job that pays enough while still gives me enough time to train.

Religion, health , valuing relationships and tbh money really doesn't bring that much happiness at all and it's all materialistic things in the end. But using that money and making other people's lives better, that's what true happiness is in my opinion.

Well for me it would be have a job that helps my nation and my race in the way that I see benefits it the most. Than I got my own sphere of interest and pleasure. Hang out with people that think the same way as me. (I am struggling so far, because I only had casual ones.) Have a job that I do not spend a lot of my time on that interferes with my personal time. Live an independant life.

Finishing my computer science degree. I will be the first in my family line to go to get a degree. I worked in finance for years quite successfully but I honestly don't care for finance, I am passionate about computer science/programming even though I am still quite the amateur. I left my finance job and moved home after a break up to work on it full time. I'm 28 and always put myself down for not starting earlier (Not that I would have been in the right headspace to do it regardless). I also clearly remember how scared I was of starting University and how difficult it was when I first started, once I make it to the end I will so proud of what I accomplished because I know how hard I worked for it.

After that I am going to move back to a different city and start a new life in my 30s with hopefully a more satisfying career.

It should go without saying that my key focus is my kids. However, my personal key focus is financial independence so I can focus on my passion of traveling around the world on a motorcycle.

I've accomplished my foundation for financial independence, which was get a degree and a career that is stable and pays well.

I've now started buying rental properties. I own 4 right now. I currently make a really good profit, after overhead, but I still have a loan, so I want to pay that off. I also have a mortgage on a home that I bought for myself. That's going to take a while to pay off.

It's a slow process, but I'm patient and disciplined. I also balance life by exercising, motorcycle travels, volunteering at an animal shelter, and some mild dating, but not with women who want to be wined and dined; just ones that want some intellectual and physical companionship. I no longer revolve my life around relationships because I find them draining of mental peace and of resources that are meant for achieving my goals.

I dont necessarily want to be wealthy, but i want to progress my career to the point where i can live comfortably - where i dont have to worry about money in general aka financial independence. I also want to get a black belt in bjj before i die lol. Maybe become a bjj instructor as a hobby when i retire.
