That is a hell of screening process and most men are way too needy to be that strict and inevitably look past a lot of your points.

But I assume that you and your GF are actually living this life you proposed, right? And you are considering trading that out for someone who already struck out? Sunk Cost?

You have to do you, and I guess when the plates and gf's come so easily it doesn't really matter if you trade this one for your ex because you can always kick the ex out again and get a new gf, but that is shit for the kids. If you take her back, I would think you would want to be SURE it would last until the kids made it to 18, mom being here, gone, here, and gone again is cruel. But you can't be sure, and it would kill your frame, OI, and abundance.

bottom line, add " I feel right now" to all of her statements.

She wants a fantasy that she can not have. She wants to be yours. The positives you list are things like "money", and good for the kids. Nothing to do with what YOU WANT.

Neither woman in your life is considering anything other than what SHE wants.

Think about this really carefully.

Does the ex want access to you, or the kids? No custody, talks a good sex game as enticement, but was the one who initiated the split. She might be playing the long game, and it might not have anything to do with your dick.

No such conundrum or analysis with new pussy. Your rules and no #7 stench that lingers. Co-parent separately like many already do. Yes, the money is annoying, but is peace of mind regarding your sexual strategy and fresh history with new pussy worth the $$$?

She gives me money, she spends endless hours doing housework and office duties I send to her, she messages me whenever her BF is not around to check on her, she does literally whatever she can to make my life easier and ingratiate herself to me.

I see it as a slippery slope...and here's your first slip. You're hamstering for her. Sure if you let her back in, the first X days would be everything you think...but do you really think it would stay that way? Or do you think she would slowly start trying to move the relationship back to where she's comfortable?

I've had two women under the same roof for a great household for years, and I know there are others on here who have as well. Just pointing out that it's more than possible, but it's tough and not the most common scenario.

You can blow all the sunshine up your butt that you want, but there's another possibility:

your ex is post-wall, didn't realize it until the divorce was final, and got way out over her skis. Not the first woman it happened to, and sure won't be the last. Women get married young, age in marriage, and think they'll walk out of their marriage into the same dating world they were in before. Nope, it don't work that way.
your ex misses your beta bucks is another likely possibility. If you're an upper middle class dude surrounded by other upper middle class dudes, it's easy to forget how rare you are. Women want back on the gravy train when they realize how hard life is without it.
the point of this place is for men to improve themselves while they're still married, and to give their marriage a chance to improve. It's possible she left you when you were a beta schlub and you've improved yourself back to how you were when she met you, once you were free of her. Guys, improve yourselves now, so if you get blindsided like OP you hit the ground running.

You have to talk to her to share custody, but you don't have to entertain her delusions that she would be a good partner for you. She had her chance, rule #7.
