Ok. We are back from Vacation. I've lifted twice and plan to do so again on Wednesday.

Arrived home on Saturday. Wife moved into the bedroom in the pool house. She has quit doing dishes, laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. She rarely speaks to me or the kids. When she does speak to the kids it's to order them to do something or get onto them.

I have been fixing broken stuff around the house, gardening, and taking care of the stuff she quit doing. The benefit of her not doing anything is I am teaching the kids how to do this stuff. Taking care of all of that stuff is something I have wanted them to learn for a long time but she was so OCD about everything that no one could do it "correctly" but her.

Wife sat down this evening and said she wanted to talk. I was rebuilding a water pump so I said I could talk but needed to get the rebuild done tonight. She asked if I had scheduled a counselor. I did call and not reach a couple BPD experienced counselors to help the kids through this mess. I told her I had called but had not heard back yet. She said that since I did not setup a counselor she would be contacting a mediator and our realtor. I told her that I didn't agree with that but if that's what she feels is best for her to move forward. She said I could have the kids since they didn't seem to want to be with her anyway. I kept calm - I am shamed to admit that in the past I acted in a very Beta groveling manner. Who knows how she took the calmness.

Alot of the calmness is I DGAF even though my SMV is very low at the moment.

She has said she wanted a divorce many times in the past and I've told her to go for it in the past as well. I am thinking about pushing this time to make sure it happens.

Any books or advice on how to handle a divorce/mediation with a BPD woman?
