We can throw around all the statistics we want. Workplace deaths being 90% male, suicides being 80% male, combat deaths being 98% male, the gender gap in all levels of education, family courts, etc. Nobody cares. The harsh fact is that even men don't care. Notice the first three statistics I mentioned?

Men are the expendable gender. The gender of death. Women have never faced anything remotely like this. The suffragettes fighting for the right to vote? Men overseas fighting in wars abroad never got to vote. You know why? Because they fucking DIED. Nobody cares.

I know this subreddit will see this as defeatist, but I don't think MRAs will ever achieve success. I've heard that awareness of men's rights is growing, but is any of it more than token growth? I think the future is pretty bleak. Feminists will continue to get what they want. People care about women. People simply haven't cared about men nor do I believe they will ever care. I think the best we can do is to insulate little boys from these harsh realities as best we can. They won't for the most part grow up to care either, but ignorance is bliss, right?
