As we all know, it's very common for feminists to lie about sexual assault, domestic violence, etc. Of course, the lies are always to advance the anti-male, pro-woman agenda.

This is an important men's rights issue, because when enough people believe the lies, they shape policy and directly harm men. If it's true that 90% of domestic violence is committed by men, and that is commonly believed...then we should arrest the man, since most likely we are arresting the perpetrator.

So it's important to know the lies, and how to debunk them.

Sometimes the lies are in the form of biased surveys (did you drink and have sex? Rape). Sometimes they are in the form of suppressing evidence to the contrary.

Sometimes, it is in the form of telling the truth, but emphasizing one part and downplaying the other part.

A while ago, someone linked me to this study that showed in Australia, only 2.1% of rape reports were found to be false, as evidence that false rape claims were very rare. Unfortunately, he or she had never actually read that study that they cited.

It's true that in the abstract, you can see that they say:

"Only 2.1 per cent of reports were designated by police as false. The belief that false allegations of rape are rife, is therefore challenged by the evidence."

Read: "False rape claims are almost non-existent, fuck misogynists who think all women are liars."

But then...if you actually read the study, which 99% of people will not...you see the following passage buried deep in the body of the text:

False complaints represented just over 2 per cent (17 cases) of the 850 records considered across the entire sample. There were at least another 70 cases where police members suspected or were sure that the allegations were false, however the outcome of the investigation was classified in different terms, such as ‘no offence detected’ or as a case for NFPA.

That statement is not remarked upon anywhere else and treated as though it is of little importance.

This is a lie by omission, just as harmful as if they lied directly.
