An Idea to perhaps make this subreddit more productive and less controversial

One may think that perhaps it is not very pragmatic For a group with so much thing to do and talk about to fill their space with such matters which can easilly be used to denote the subreddit as "incel" and other similiar slurs, thus easily turning many potential members/allies/sympathizers off on the first glance.

So you'd have incels move to a place less hospitable to outside views and become enveloped in the culture that's rabidly vilified, so that they might more easily become the "terrorists" that people so quickly branded them the last time or two a major incident occurred? Would you not prefer them to be in the company of more open-minded, more pragmatic, more productive members of "the manosphere"? Should we scrape and bow, and exclude our fellow men, just to avoid the slightest indication of reticence to wholeheartedly indulge in the feminist ideal which might attract negative attention, largely from people who attack us, and incels, on the basis of hate rather than genuine concern or practical problem-solving?

If we can't discuss what makes a man's life difficult, what are we even here for? I'm not suggesting we turn this place into an incel forum (of course, if we did then we'd get instabanned just like all the other incel subs), but why wouldn't you want them to come here and vent so that more level-headed members can help steer them right? True, this isn't and shouldn't be a space primarily or exclusively about dating advice or consoling each other over inabilities to find partners, but where are they going to go instead?

I would much rather those "potentially incel" men have somewhere to identify with, somewhere to belong, that appears to be doing something to help the problems men have than believe that no such space exists and that they should instead dive head first into a major and much maligned incel-exclusive forum. If this sub were to become actively inhospitable towards incels, I would be considerably less inclined to comment here, on the basis that I strongly believe that they are one of the groups most in need of help and comradeship.

Edit: I should clarify that I realise that you were only suggesting that the name "incel" might be levelled at this sub for having allowed such discussions, rather than directly suggesting that this sub is full of people who identify that way, but at the end of the day I would rather accept people who have incel tendencies than cast them aside to a much worse fate, even at the expense of being considered a "misogynistic" or "incel" sub (which, let's face it, we probably already are accused of, regardless of what we do, or say, or who we allow to speak here.

They already tried that and they got their subs banned for being only dedicated to that. MGTOW, MGTOW2, redpill, etc. All have been banned. Perhaps if men had these places still I would agree with you. The alternatives are rather extreme outside of Reddit. Personally after all these bans I have gone to the other end. I think men should be free to openly discuss their honest opinions about this with each other. Dating is a common issue and personally I find a lot of it insightful. Rarely do I think it is out of place here.

I agree dating advice and personal rants should be elsewhere. If the purpose is to discuss gender dynamics, why such dynamics exist and/or how they impact men, I think that can relate to men’s rights.

That’s my perspective for what it’s worth.
