I always hear from feminists and regular people that false rapes are only 2-8% of all rape claims yet I haven't been able to find a study that supports this much less even closely examines false rape claims. Is there any good study done to determine how many claims are false?

Edit: Actually just found this article that does a good job of explaining how the 2-8% is EXTREMELY misleading. And that all caps is justified. They found that those 2-8% false rapes are provably false and that ~45% of rape charges did not proceed because there was not enough evidence. An additional 13.9% weren't rape because there wasn't enough information to go on.
