Boys are discriminated against in school. Women are advantaged in job hiring and business ownership.

This creates all sorts of problems including a dating/marriage imbalance. Women can’t date up and marry up if we are disadvantaging boys and men.

Those women going to med school aren’t dreaming of marrying and supporting a male nurse. They still want to marry up but the demographics don’t support that.

The discrimination is of course also unfair and economically inefficient. We are focusing our educational efforts on the sex that’s wants to work less rather than in the sex that will be expected to be providers.

Just imagine continuously receiving messages like these, as early as kindergarten:

don’t be aggressive
don’t be competitive
don’t ever be selfish
always let the girls go first
help others, ignore your needs
girls are smarter anyway
you’re just a dumb boy
the future is female
you are inherently toxic
you can cry (sometimes), but don’t don’t make anyone feel unsafe
all the world’s problems are created by your gender
male energy & ambition are problematic
if you ever succeed it’s because of the patriarchy
successful with women? you’re a manipulative abuser, if not, you’re a pathetic incel
you’re privileged, and an oppressor
you’re a potential rapist
god forbid you’re white, in which case you’re racist and a colonialist too
etc, etc, etc

And we wonder why young men aren’t motivated to pursue great things anymore… IMO as horrible as it is to say, I’m surprised the suicide rate isn’t even higher in boys and men.

Bottom line: we live in a deeply gynocentric and misandrist society, hostile to everything male or masculine (except of course when embodied by a girl or woman).

We’re at a weird point in history where the perception is that we have to lift up women and advantage them in order to “undo” perceived injustice. That’s the current progressive narrative which has combined with the traditional narrative that men and boys are solely responsible for developing their own economic viability. This has created an environment where women and girls get a leg up and men and boys are only told “you suck. Do better.” It’s a very pernicious Chinese finger puzzle which is proving to be impossible to get out of because the progressive narrative can’t take the time to evaluate the second and third order effects of their actions and the conservative narrative lacks the flexibility to change with the times.

When women insult honest work, there are memes like "back to work, wagee" and people who do work those jobs have overwhelming testimony of being mistreated, disregarded, and ignored when outsiders are promoted instead, it creates an atmosphere where there's very little value in having that employment if you want to live.

Some dead end jobs also shift your schedule a lot and expect you to be available whenever they want. Men and young men alike don't have established households or families that expect and respect that sort of commitment to sustain them. Having no social life as well as no home life is obviously something these people are aware of and do not want.

There are also women who insult their direct peers. Girls in school finding their classmates economically unattractive. There are women at work who exude the same disdain and people online who will easily insult men for having employment they'd rather a woman have. Examples include male nurses and babysitters.

Men see who they and women look up to. Most of those people are celebrities and otherwise famous. The see athletes and comedians alike promoting gambling on TV, selling insurance, diapers, etc. Regular people don't exist in their peer group. Online and on TV they are represented as paychecks, retirees, influencers, or up and comings that are struggling while surrounded by people who could be helping, but are doing just fine not.

Who respects regular work? It's the equivalent of "bare minimum". Expected, not respected.

Because the social contract is broken. Most careers, both white and blue collar have no job security and salary increases that don't keep up with inflation. Most people work bullshit service sector or office jobs. Why waste your life being a wagecuck when you could be a SlopTuber streaming yourself punching your nuts and making millions of dollars a year while you sleep?
