"My parents messed me up"
"My ex destroyed my entire life"
"Nobody likes me"
"I'm oppressed"

All examples of victim mindsets.

Any of them may have grains of truth.

Overall, they are anti agency ways of thinking that limit action. People solving their problems don't talk like this.

Your parents might have legitimately done some awful crap.

Maybe you don't have the friends you want.

True or not, it doesn't matter. It's in the past.

Parents were abusive and now you have attachment issues? Fix it.

You'll never have to say you're messed up because of your parents again.

Nobody likes you? Reframe to "I don't think anybody like me right now. But I'm learning how to make friends"

Very easy to fall into the trap of thinking these sorta true, not the whole picture, mindsets.
