Avoid the false movements.

Like the Good Men Project most of said projects are aimed at stopping the MRM by infecting it with Feminist ideology, by forcing everything through the "Men are subhuman" lens of feminism you ensure Men's Rights doesn't ever get addressed.

The goal of these movements is to help feminism not men.

Menslib doesn’t want to hear from men who disagree with their dogma.

Of course they don't. the /r/menslib subreddit is just a typical extension of feminism. SJWs and feminists are incredibly prone to forming echo chambers and thus, any dissidents will be permabanned on the spot.

That's one of the best parts of this subreddit... I am in strong disagreement with several concepts that the bulk of the user base here appear to be in love with.

For example; I am against circumcision, and so are the others. Their solution is to expand the size and scope of government to subjugate parents as vassals to the state.

I don't agree. My solution is to increase awareness and to dispel the long-standing myth that "Circumcision is totally harmless, comes with great health benefits and no downsides" which is hardcore bullshit on every level.... once that is dispelled, parents will not want to submit their children for such a treatment.

So we agree that there is a problem but we don't agree on the solution. I've had many long debates with people on this and no one has gotten banned, as it should be.

Another common disagreement is that I don't believe men and women are the same. They are not "equal" and therefore, the law necessarily cannot treat them as "equals", it would be an injustice to treat two different things as being the same. This has also led to many arguments.

I contend that justice should treat men and women in a fair and even handed manner that suits each situation, to be determined on a case-by-case basis by people like the judges making the assessment. Others disagree and argue that the law should be written as an absolute and no one should be able to "interpret" the law or make judgments. I don't agree at all.

POINT BEING; One of the best parts of this subreddit is that you find a lot of ............. wait for it.......... DIVERSITY OF THOUGHT. There is no hard-dogma or doctrine that the people here adhere to, in particular moderation is very relaxed and let's discussions flow naturally which is how it should be.

tldr /r/menslib = garbage. /r/mensrights = godlike.

I know some hard-core feminists who agree with me on the point that feminism should focus on the advancement of women and girls and the men's movement should stick to men and boys.

Furthermore, she agreed that these two movements must be separate and distinct.

A men's movement that is seriously committed to the health and well-being of men and boys can not and should not seek the sanction or approval of the feminist movement.

They are just rabid self hating male feminists. In 20 years of existence they did absolutely ZERO for men and boys. They are created to shut down the debate and censor anyone that dares talk about real problems that affect men and boys.

Do yourself a favor and completely ignore them.

IIRC, we're not supposed to post about being banned from other subs. For the feminist subreddits I get it. We don't want our sub filling up with a bunch of people telling the same story over and over again of the obvious: of course people like us would get banned from feminist subs. But for menslib I personally would like to see specific examples just like this one so that it can be made clear that men's lib is not a rational place. Newcomers to menslib might be influenced by some of their frequent disparagement and vitriol toward us. If they actually come over to our sub it might be useful for them to see that we just calmly cite specific examples of their irrational behavior.

So here's mine. I was banned for asking a poster to clarify if they believed in the wage gap.

The mod policy at MensLib is that they don't want the sub to turn into a debate about feminism because that would just swamp the sub and nothing else would get discussed. So they ban anti-feminist stuff.

It is annoying to have part of the stuff that needs talking about to be declared out of bounds but it works, I spent a bit of time there recently and found good discussions.

I ended up doing a big detailed attack on a prominent feminist and the fact she is not criticised by other feminists. It would not be surprising if the mods had objected but they didn't. Beginner's luck maybe.
