Constantly praising fathers while never recognizing financially successful men pushes us toward the 1950s womens role

Change my mind: If we only think raising kids provides value for men--not working, earning and succeeding, it will reinforce the exact same stereotype that was reinforced repeatedly for women in the 1950s.

I get the goal here is to escape gender roles, but if we just reinforce the opposite, we're not escaping--we're just creating the same problem over again.

Men should have the right to choose whatever life we want.
