So there is a post right now in TwoXchromosomes. This woman helped one of her older male colleagues at work who said something to the effect of "thank you baby you are always so kind and pleasant." The post is her outrage and calls him feeble.

I don't know about you guys but growing up in the south as a young man and even today older women have called me "baby, sweetie, darlin" for as long as I can remember. From the elementary cafeteria to the workplace. Never have I ever felt it was anything but a polite nicety or courtesy. Never have I seen or heard another male be offended by this. Never would I think to age shame one of these women. So hypocritical.

This outrage culture is such a bunch of manufactured nonsense and takes away from real issues in the world.
