Define progressive, please. As in wanting society to progress? Doesn't everyone? There are different manners in which a society can progress, what is progress depends on the environment in which you live. If the progress is detrimental, then perhaps a "reactionary" view is progressive.

I'd say the closest I might accept would be "pragmatic". Progressivism, conservatism, feminism, masculism... They all have their shards of wisdom.

I wouldn't identify as that at all but I guess the mr is by some very loose definition "progressive". The thesis was what they call traditionalism, the anti-thesis is feminism and the left, and we are the force that's going to create the new way and center.

So we are, whether we know it or not part of Hegel's dialectic process for creating a social system that's better than the previous one.

edit - most of the mrm would probably qualify as third way, imo.

"Progressive" is a misnomer. There is nothing progressive about leftism.
