You may find on closer inspection that the arguments put forward: "prejudice plus power" or "men have never been oppressed" are simply fill-ins or placeholders for what's actually going on (which is why they don't make any sense at all):

Gamma Bias.

Woman does a good thing: boss girl
Woman does a bad thing: bad man made her do it/ignored
Man does a good thing: ignored/woman made him do it
Man does a bad thing: he's bad, of course

I overheard a female interim manager at the hospital I work at state, “I would never consider hiring a cis white male into any vacant position within my portfolio while I’m the manager.” I reported this via our incident reporting system and signed my name electronically to it. HR told me how they determined how they would deal with her was an internal matter and I was not privy to this information due to privacy laws. 6 months later I filed a whistleblower incident report because the manager was still employed. 6 months later and I have been blacklisted and have been turned down twice for internal job postings. Currently searching for a new job. No real way to prove it, not that any employment lawyer would take my case. Our hospital is essentially run by women from the CEO down the food chain to the managers.

Where do you see men showing sexism? Now laws are so tight at work place from corporates to universities, I see women wearing smash patriarchy on their shirt and coming to work on Fridays but if a man does something he is fired immediately. What sexism you are talking about that men show?

As a feminist woman, I feel you. Unfortunately, a lot of so-called “feminists” are not feminists, but “misandrists”. Most feminists I know are not like that, but some are, and they give the rest of us a bad reputation. And some of them are Reddit mods in feminist subreddits. Look, this is one of my posts. I posted it in 3 feminist subreddits, and 2 of them banned me, and after I politely asked for the reason why they banned me, they simply muted me. One of them. The other one just ignored me. And in both cases it’s a permaban. The first one said I was “derailing”. “Derailing” means to refuse to acknowledge the struggles of a group of people because others also have it bad. That’s not what I did at all. Like, not even one time have I mentioned that men have it worse. Or have it bad too, in order to reject the women’s struggles in today’s world lol. I’m actually the one pointing them, a lot of times. I was raised in a very misogynistic family, and I’m still bitter because of this. And because of everything else that happens to women in the world. I’m definitely not the type of person to be derailing on these matters LOL.

Funny enough, r/Feminism and r/Feminisms both have one or more misandristic mods, and r/RadicalFeminism doesn’t. Which, I believe proves my point even more: feminists and misandrists are 2 different things. And feminists are too amazing to be put in the same basket with misandrists. So please, don’t.

The thing is often when calling out sexism feminism revers to systemcial opression. Yes society opresses women. the thing is society dosn't do this because opressing women is okay, society opresses diffrent people diffrently. Society heavily opresses men aswell. Feminism is a super narrow perspective on societal structures that entirely centers around women.
