I'm sure some here have seen this stupid meme and campaign, and it became more widespread on social media after Sarah Everard's murder in the U.K. It's a graphic that has the words "Protect your daughter" on it crossed out and beneath that is "educate your son." I mean WTF, how is this not blatant misandry? It's a no-brainer to protect and educate both to be decent people, but as always, women and girls who do wrong are let off the hook and not held accountable, and bad behavior is always made to be a male problem. I despise this and this is the same BS as the Gillette ad, completing ignoring and excusing bad female behavior. Plenty of women and girls mistreat men and boys but as usual, no campaigns to also ask them to be held accountable. I'm beyond fed up of bad behavior always being attributed to being male. And you bring up that to protect and educate both is like saying "all lives matter." Ugh. Yes, because asking for men and boys to stop being demonized for their gender and asking that women/girls who do wrong be held equally accountable is so "all lives matter."

This reminds me of a scene in the movie, M3GAN, from earlier this year. Which I rather liked barring the scene where the title villain is attacking a boy bullying a girl and says "You know what happens with bad boys that don't mind their manners? They grow up to be bad men." Watching that in the theater I wanted to shout out loud "The same for bad girls!" Bad girls who aren't taught their manners and aren't reprimanded grow up to be bad women who get away with being bad. I hate this misandrist garbage and how it's not only socially acceptable but creeps into entertainment, too.

This garbage slogan should qualify as child abuse. It's bad enough men are constantly vilified and blamed for all of the ills in the world, but now that's being attributed to boys as well? Beyond disgusting.
