I don't have the link but a guy just won a one million dollar lawsuit against a hospital that fired him and several others for being white men so the hospital could give their jobs to women to improve their diversity, inclusivity, and equity.

"patriarchy" is an assertion, that has to be proven not really the other way around.

My explanation for it is that it is an attempt to normalize abusive relationships by Simone de Beauvoir as she willingly chose to be in one with Sartre. If I remember correctly de Beauvoir does not examine the inverse of her narrative and avoids accurately describing history like the plague.

Fundamentally, the assertion that women were misstreated by men comes from 1848 Seneca Falls Convention and the "declaration of sentiment" which are the foundation of feminism as a movement.

The entire school system which is now tailored to usher along girls, specifically adapted to only take (majority) female development curves into account, as well as only use methods that on average stimulates girls much more often than it does boys.

Few boys that are a bit atypical (and certainly no wrong with that) also benefit, but for most it's the exact opposite, alongside a minority of atypical girls who happens to align with the same cognitive development as the disenfranchised boys.

Generation after generation of boys are failed by this. The bastards have recently even developed terms to shift the blame onto the boys in question: "Anti-study culture/masculinity".

What a sick and low person you have to be, to do that. Blame innocent children for your own failures.

Some examples from where I live

Laws

-Conscription is gender-specific and mandatory for all able-bodied men only.

-Men do not have the rights to spousal maintenance (alimony) unless they are incapacitated and unable to maintain themselves.

-Single men do not have the right to adopt girls, whilst women can adopt children of either gender.

-Men cannot be raped by women, only by other men.

-Any sexual act between males is a criminal offence. This does not apply for female homosexual behaviours.

-Offences involving necrophilia are only prescribed for men.

-Only males can be subjected to judicial and military caning (flogging). Similarly, only boys can be subjected to school caning.

-Female suspects cannot be body searched by male officers except in very narrowly defined circumstances. This does not apply to the reverse.

-In school, consent must be sought from girls over the age of 10 if they are to be medically examined by a male person. Conversely, consent from boys is not mandatorily prescribed in any circumstances.

-Fathers have no reproductive rights

-For prison grooming standards, with the exception of Sikhs and Tamils, the hair of male prisoners must be shaved. Female prisoners on the other hand have the liberty to keep their hair if they wish.

-Many laws regarding prostitution, sex trafficking and compelled marriage are gender-specific. For example, it is illegal for one to live on the earnings of a female prostitute but not a male one.

Public policies

-Fathers are only eligible for 2 weeks of paternity leave. On the other hand, mothers are entitled to 16 weeks.

-Adoptive fathers (be they married or single) are entitled to 2 weeks of paid parental leave. On the other hand, adoptive mothers (be they married or single) are entitled to 12 weeks.

-Unmarried biological fathers are not entitled to any paid parental leave. Marital status is not a factor for mothers.

-Many forms of parental tax relief are only for mothers, no matter what familial arrangement individuals have.

-Free HPV vaccination is only available for girls. Boys who wished to be vaccinated must pay for the full cost.

-Male students are not allowed to keep their hair long (even moderately so) nor are they allowed any ear accessory. Female students on the other hand are allowed both short and long haircuts and to don ear accessories. The same is true for most uniformed personnel (eg. military, police).

Family court practice

-Although not explicit in any law, with everything being equal, care and control (custody in most other areas) are prevalently awarded to the mothers, especially for cases of young children (tender years principle). This is due to case law precedent and the general expectation that mothers are the more competent parents.

Widely adopted industry policies

-Male preschool teachers are not allowed to perform routine care (showering, changing of diapers, dressing) for children. Only female teachers may perform them.
