You are totally right about how we treat men and women when they fail. However there is more to the gender sentencing gap, because women tend to get lighter sentences for the same crime. Often judges will give women a break if they have children, and women are often able to cry abuse and so on. Society also just tends to value women more highly.

So even if we don't get into the issue of the difference between how we view the failure of men and women we need to address the inequality in the legal system, because men are explicitly being discriminated against.

The funny thing is that it is a form of discrimination. It is like they are saying "men are stronger so they must bear the consequences of their actions, but women are weaker and must be given mercy".

Women at least as strong emotionally. I have no idea why I have been called a sexist in the past for pointing out the same thing the OP did. Because in reality, it is sexist to act like women are emotionally weak.

Everything a woman achieves is not through her effort, but because of feminism. Anything bad happens to her is caused by patriarchy. You believe in this garbage you lose your soul. I shit you not.

I've found that this isn't just a case with genders. Everyone has their excuse for why they've failed. If you're a minority race, you failed because the white man is keeping you down. if you're a woman, patriarchy kept you down. If you're old, you can't compete with youth. if you're white, the coloreds took your job. There is a whole culture of victimization and a lack of personal responsibility that needs to be addressed at some point if we really want an equal society between all people.

Men are far more likely to commit sex and violent crime and as a result are more likely to go to prison. In the first case, sex crimes against men, women, and children is a major target of feminism and in the latter case violence is encouraged in men through macho culture- in direct opposition to feminism. You are correct in your assessment that men are pushed into poor performance through cultural tendencies, but in reality this situation would be improved by feminism.
