I'm curious to see what your thoughts are on gender roles in a heterosexual marriage.
My personal opinion is: If both the man and women work and provide, then both should help clean and cook and look after a baby.
If the man works and the woman doesn't. The man shouldn't always have to help clean or cook or look after babies.
A man works hard all day and so he deserves to have a rest. I understand looking after a baby is tiring but that doesn't last long. They soon grow up and spend all day at school. The woman doesn't have to worry about paying rent or bills and being divorced if she has financial problems because the husband could value her only based on what she provides. It's obviously important for a father to spend time with his kids but I don't think he should have to cook after a long day at work.
