Long story short I had been hanging out with this girl for a few weeks after I broke up with my ex girlfiend. This was in August but we had kept in touch regularly and even hung out as friends sometimes. Long story short I get called into the sheriff station to "talk". I get accused of raping this girl even though I had text messages from the same girl begging me to come to her place and me telling her no, all during the time of the alleged rape, as well as my roommates being with me at the time. I talked with the detective for about an hour which I know now was dumb. It took them almost 3 months for them to let me know that I would not be prosecuted. I'm still not sure what the even means. But thank you to this sub for helping me know that I'm not alone.
