Women are more then welcome here and no matter what they argue.. they won't be censored.. This is important.. it is a more inclusive community despite disagreements at least most of us can acknowledge that mens rights are needed and we ought to be keeping tally of societies inequalities or else men will just further be taken advantage of by whatever said politics comes along. Disposable males. Indifference breeds apathy.

I Enjoy /r/MensRights because...

For the second time in my life(the first being watching GWW's 'The Disposable Male'[cliche I know, but true]) I found a place where other people understood that men have issues too.

The best way I have of framing it was not surprise, or a change of view, but of shock; that I wasn't the only person who saw things through this lens, and that there was scientific proof to prove it.

It's like a second home. I appreciate many of you. Thanks.

Growing up, since high school, internally I was challenged by the unfairness of things in society that placed one group of people above another group of people.

I was told that it was morally reprehensible to deny someone a job based on there race. That one of our countries great accomplishments was the ERA. In the next breath the teacher explained to me how colleges adjust test scores so they can hit racial quotas, how college grants that I wasn't eligible for because of the color of my skin were for the benefit of society. Ultimately it was explained that I had to pay for the sins of my grandparents.

I have spent all my life wondering if I am the crazy one.

What I see in Mensrights is a desire to swing things back to a more neutral area. No one here wants to deny women the right to vote, no one here thinks women should be denied an equal wage. No one here is A.O.K. with rape or sexual harassment.

I do see some problems with some views on child support, but I am a big believer compromise.

I enjoy /MensRights because we can both a critical examination of things and keep it lighthearted, while also tempering most advocacy of violence or hatred.

I enjoy r/mensrights because its hilarious and tragic at the same time. The idea of the oppressed white man is so absolutely ass backwards and ridiculous I can't help but come to this subreddit and read the posts and comments. For me it's like watching Fox News without the commercials and pundits. In the same way I love and hate fox, I adore r/mensrights for the uncanny ability of its contributors to make me lol and rage simultaneously.
