I ranted about this not too long ago about the stupid meme that has the words "Protect your daughter" on it crossed out and under it is "educate your son." I ranted about how it's stupid, but it also occured to me; would you consider it hate speech? I think it pretty much is, only asking for men/boys to be held accountable when they do wrong and not women/girls and it enforces the tired notion that being male is inherently a bad thing and men/boys are pre-dispositioned to bad behavior. While ignoring that plenty of women and girls also engage in equally bad behavior and often instigate it as well. It plays into harmful misandrist idealogy that the entire male gender is hostile towards women by default and thus need to be educated and that women and girls are never to be held responsible. All the while completely ignoring that plenty of women and girls commit wrongdoings and also need to be punished accordingly and yet aren't.

This stupid meme is not only arguably misandrist hate speech but pretty much child abuse as well, considering it's asking for sons to be educated and boys from a young age are basically being told they're horrible people just for their gender.
