I post here as a feminist, not to troll but to try to get it. I suspect I may get banned for posting this, but I'm not naming names, just sharing some replies to posts I've written as a feminist. I want to gauge how representative some of these sentiments are of MRA as a whole. To me a lot of this stuff just seems like misogyny dressed up as "Men's Rights". (Have tried to preserve context as much as possible, please mod delete if not appropriate)

However I've had some really constructive exchanges as well. And I admit I'm not showing posts that prompted the above. Mostly I was trying to assert that it's just not true that women are "just as violent" or "equally violently" or "MORE violent" in DV context.

I acknowledge that way more men than women are homicide victims in general. And I wish MRAs could do more about this: I am passionately onside with men demanding that homicide rates and suicide rates be given the attention they deserve.

But instead so many men on this sub spend so much time complaining about how they're menaced by female DV.

I'm not saying men can't be abused by women but I can't help it - it upsets me quite seriously that so many guys are so callously minimizing the live-or-die seriousness of this issue for women!
