All I got from that was a woman She-splaining how men have to work harder to take pressure off of women. Which is par for the course for the feminism she denies she supports. So are we to take her at face value or as a subversive?

Feminism invented the idea that women are better nurturerers 250 years ago with the tender years doctrine, we had a men as the default single parent for thousands of years before then, and men being the majority of nurses and schoolteachers too

"But to a certain extent" keeps it in Feminist ideology. The branch it stems from becomes adjacent to "rules for thee but not for me", when other branches argue "but muh equality/independence".

At extreme, it would force women into marriages with men they don't actually love (as arranged marriages or other similar), which doesn't sound unusual for India. You'd almost never hear someone actually in the West to say it out loud.

How is this any different from any other right-wing conservative rhetoric? Feminism has fucked up society but not because it challenged the idea of gender roles(in it's own biased/one-sided way). Trying to go back to arbitrary limiting structures, often based on religious dogma, is a regressive mindset. It's not pro-men and it's not pro-equality.

Men can be nurturing. Women can be horrible nurturers. The idea that women are nurturers is both a product of conditioning and bias, with women being raised to believe they are better nurturer so people assume that they are as well. It's also a product of this idea that men should do all the labor and women should just be allowed to infantilize themselves, so that they can enjoy this easy life of a dependent, or power bottom(because even as dependents, women still hold most of the power in relationships), instead of an equal partners.
