I am going to keep this post brief, because I don't have a lot to say.

I would just like to ask everyone to keep an open mind.

My opinion:

In the long run, Register-Her.com is basically just an internet archiving site. It serves no real purpose. Just being listed on a website as a "bigot" or whatever will likely have zero consequences for these people in real life, unless people take serious action to make it effect them in real life, which could potentially result in a very negative backlash.

Register-Her.com ends up being nothing beyond posturing and archiving, and it serves as ammunition for those who want to take the MRM down. I have yet to see it effect anyone, for instance, from the University of Toronto protests, in real life, beyond garnering them sympathy and support from those around them, and from various forums online. The only place it actually seems to effect anyone is online, among MRAs and MRA-minded people, which does absolutely nothing for our cause beyond cataloging people that we dislike.

All the protesters, forums and news outlets have against the MRM that comes in any of the news reports is literally just Register-Her.com. It's absolutely all they have.

I think we should all consider that and reevaluate the existence of the site. Perhaps scaling it down, renaming it, reformatting it so that it seems more like a site with a just purpose, rather than one merely for naming and shaming those that we find offensive or "thuggish".

I don't feel that a Human Rights movement that truly wants to help people would engage in something that feels more like a tactic feminists or even internet trolls would use. I feel that it makes the MRM look amateurish, and it also basically serves as the only source of negative publicity for us.

Think about the long-term, rather than what's happening now.

Edit: Additionally, I feel that is a bit unprofessional and amateurish, and I would think that we would want to be professional if we are serious about achieving our goals, to use taglines like "because truth is the real bitch", or to have articles with titles like "Fuck You, Judith Grossman".

The use of curse-words and slurs like "fucktard" in the article titles on the main AVoiceForMen.com site just seems very amateurish and unprofessional to me, and I personally take the MRM very seriously, and would like to see everything done in a professional and well-rounded manner.

I'm not asking anyone to cater to my needs or desires, because I realize things do get emotional, but that is just something I wanted to throw out there.
