There's a reason why this article, which found the average penis size to be 5.13 inches, has become incredibly popular. It's not because we just find it interesting, it's because it lets a lot of justifiably insecure men breathe a sigh of relief and realize they ARE normal in a society where one's frame of reference is the monster cocks from porn.

Penis size seems to be among the only things in the field of body image that is more or less unchangeable. Unhappy about your weight? Diet and exercise. Unhappy with your breast size? You can get implants. Facial structure? Plastic surgery. But men are stuck with the penises they're dealt (except maybe foreskin restoration which is a whole other subject).

"some reports suggest that only about 55% of men are satisfied with their penis size. Some seek potentially dangerous surgical solutions to a problem that, according to Veale, is often only in their head. Men 'seem to have a very distorted picture of what [size] other men are, and what they believe they should be,' Veale says."

Our society seldom associates men with body image problems but 45% of men are unhappy with their genital size!

I think we could benefit from some kind of "love your dong" campaign
