I got a ding today from the Reddit admins supposedly for promoting hate. They linked to the offending post but guess what? They had deleted it so that I couldn't tell what was supposedly wrong with it. Nice one. Since this is a civil rights board the idea that anyone here is promoting hate (other than the feminists who come here of course) is a bit ridiculous so I imagine it's important for them to remove the evidence.

This comment was not a current one so presumably what happened is that some feminist is currently on the board and using the reporting system to try and get individuals banned by digging through old posts and hitting the report button. In other words Reddit is supporting anti-male hate by empowering bigots to abuse civil rights activists here. I suppose it's better than posting child porn like they used to do to try and get subs shut down.

Still it's potentially problematic. I suppose retaliation might be in order by reporting feminist posts. I'm not keen on the idea but I can't think of much else should the abuse continue significantly.

But maybe it's just a one off. Anyone else get dinged recently?
