People don't SA and kill women because they hate women, they commit these acts because they're sociopathic assholes. I mean, if violence towards women is a result of misogyny, then what about the much more prevalent violence against men?

And misandry DOES get men killed and imprisoned. Look at the war in Ukraine where men are forced to fight and die, look at all the male refugees who must remain in dangerous countries because of discriminatory immigration laws, look the sentencing disparity where if a man and a woman are accused of the same crime the man is much more likely to be convicted and likely to serve a much longer sentence. And then look at the deplorable way we treat mail prisoners compared to women.

Misandry is much more dangerous than misogyny if you think about it for more than 3 seconds.

Ask them for specific numbers, how many men and women are hurt yearly because of misandry/misogyny, and how many are hurt for nonsexist reasons.

Then get ready to see some mental gymnastics performance (and no numbers other than 99% and 1%). My prediction, they're going to tell you how men control everything, so anything bad that happens to a man is a result of his actions/doesn't actually happen/isn't that bad/is collateral damage/any other narcissistic rhetoric. Unlike women, whose actions don't have any consequences, and everything that happens to a woman is the result of misogyny.

What could be a good response to this argument?

The argument implies that there must be a different treatment because men are stronger in every possible way. Reformulate it like this:

"You are right, women need all the help they can because they are weak. While men can cope on their own, because they are strong. Thus one cannot equate the wrongs done to women with the wrongs done to men. Men indeed are the superior sex and thus must accept to be treated less favorably. There is a reason why it is always "women and children" first ."

Corruption, malfeasance, incompetance "Shadowy figures" behind the government, hehehe...must be the same “shadowy figures” who told Assistant DA Nick Komoroski to "look the other way" and file charges in spite of the evidence that proves that not only did I not do what I was accused of, but that my accuser has in fact committed many crimes that have been covered up, and in fact set up a fake email address, pretended to be Taryn Brinlee (President of Cedar Ridge Elementary) while committing fraud in giving false information and posing as a government employee to gain employment - she pretended to be Taryn and gave herself glowing recommendations from "Taryn." She also used me and my email address as references, claimed that we were former co-workers (I have never been a teacher in CPS, despite her claims.)

She has slept with her Vice-Principal at High Road, her student’s parents (several), a drug lobbyist who was federally indicted, a former police chief, a former police chief’s brother who own a popular local tattooing establishment on Broadway…and who knows WHY she keeps getting preferential treatment

How are people okay with their communities being ran like this? They sure wouldn’t like it if it happened to THEIR son, or them, period. Oh, and this bitch outweighed me by AT LEAST 30-40 lbs and was almost as tall as I am, so can we dispense with the sexist ass "misogyny gets women killed, misandry is just online" oversimplification?

Shit, even in MY situation, I look at what I did to put ME in a shitty situation with an abusive partner, a lot of shit led to it but ultimately I MADE A TERRIBLE DECISION. Just because she turned out to be a psycho alcoholic prostitute doesn't mean there weren't signs...an über-liberal extremist, covered in tattoos from head to toe to cover all the cutting scars and (to top it off) piercings through the bridge of her nose...I want to reiterate what a terrible decision I made. But that does not excuse her behavior.

Make up your fucking minds, ladies - are you equal to men? Because you sure don't ACT like my equal. And we aren't held to equal standards.

I'M the one that's had to pay...financially, emotionally, personally, socially, professionally, academically...while she gets off scott-free. Because she's a girl.

Misandry gets men sexually assaulted, raped and killed just as much as misogyny does to women, the only difference is how they care to look at it.

For sexual assault just have to look at how a lot of women wouldn't have a second thought on groping men's chest, bum or genitals. Have a look on how male strippers are treated versus female strippers.

As for rape, any woman can rape any man they please if they happen to find them sleeping. I can't be the only man who has woken up to his girlfriend riding him. There is no need to physically overpower someone in order to rape them.

As for getting killed, there is a reason why the male suicide numbers are so much higher then the female numbers. Then there is the whole violence by proxy, there are plenty of cases that men get killed solely because they're a man. I haven't seen any women who get conscripted into wars or ex girlfriends getting killed by their old flames new girlfriend.

So it really isn't that misandry doesn't do all these things, it is just that your feminist friends do not care enough about it to even consider it.

Misandry is systemic. Misandry is a structural phenomenon. Violence is primarily directed against men.

If a woman is affected, there is a disorder at play that needs to be treated. Women are supported systemically, but men are also accused of this.
