The rape of men, especially the epidemic of male on male rape in prison is a sign of the barbarism still present in our culture. It's man on man so the SJW's pretend to be blind at best and mock men at their worst.

OMG, I know. I remember being young and hearing a funny song about men getting raped. I kinda thought it was funny, but felt uncomfortable. Then I learned more about male rape and was horrified. Social programming is destructive, but I was able to see past it once I educated myself.

It is so very devastating for men. It's worse than for women because so many people trivialize it and the way it hurts a man, in alot of ways, IMO, is worse than for women on average. There isn't much support. There's jokes all over. It hurts a mans masculinity which is really damaging. I've had a number of men tell me about their experience and tons of women. I find it interesting that when women tell their experiences, it's very much about how traumatic it was and how evil the boys/men were that did it. But when men tell the experience, they tend to trend on the side of "Well it wasn't so bad." And then they often make an excuse for the woman. It's so sad because I can see the pain in them. But they're so used to not being heard, they will trivialize their own experience when talking to me.

I've seen men do that in lots of areas. They get so beat down by women, they get so used to their voice not being heard, they just discount their own feelings. Alot of women will take this at face value and say things like "Oh, rape didn't really affect him much". It's just the opposite. The men I've talked to just didn't feel they could express those feelings. I didn't want to push, but I did comfort them as much as they'd let me. It's really messed up that it's not seen equally between the sexes. And like I said, I think it's worse for men.

Rape jokes aren't bad. The bad part is rape jokes about men are normalised and rape jokes about women are criticized and considered sexist.

"Don't drop the soap" I thought was mainly funny against evil men who go to jail for predatory behavior. Like it being justice for their crimes. I had no idea it was being put in spongebob.

as long as it's jokes and nothing more. then i don't see a problem with jokes about gender, race, sexaul preference or crime. but if women don't want sexist jokes, then men should be able to say no aswell
