They feel it is justified, but get outraged over the idea you propose or that a lot of women commit sperm theft and are a Schrödinger’s sperm thief until otherwise is demonstrated.

By similar logic - should men have a "Schrödinger’s False Accuser" view of women? It would protect men from false accusations if they didn't trust women at all and acting accordingly.

I had that when growing up. Still do, in fact. Most women have the princess complex. A "get away you lowly pervert" kind of attitude towards any ordinary guy. And it's not necessarily directed only towards guys who might ask them out. I have never approached a woman in my life (thankfully some have been proactive), but still got that attitude even from fat middle aged hags. It's common for a woman to act like you're molesting her should your shoulder brush against hers in crowded public transport during rush hour, or if you ask for any kind of minor help (asking for the time, borrowing a pen, whatever). You know the reaction, the exaggerated recoil like you just groped them or something, the rolling of the eyes, the bored voice, the general contempt that seems to drip from her for no reason at all. Most ordinary men can confirm this.

So I pretty much learnt to never, ever be friendly or helpful to any strange woman, or even female acquaintances I'm not exceptionally close to. I don't actively befriend them, never offer help of my own volition, and generally maintain my distance. If one sits next to me on public transport, I place my bag between us, if any ask me for directions I just mutter a "sorry no idea" and move on, if one at my office asks for help I tell her I'm busy.

It's just not worth it getting chummy with them. There is nothing to gain (when was the last time a woman offered to help you with any problem? There is a reason why men are expected to deal with their own issues), and everything to lose.

Honestly? Treat any person you don't know/trust as a potential threat to your property/safety, until you get to know them. Any person can be a criminal/crazy person. That doesn't mean run screaming from them, but stay on your guard no matter who it is. This is common sense.

It seems to me more like general society have a "Schrödinger’s Rapist" view, what with all the rape prevention advice they provide.

"Don't wear revealing clothing! Don't get drunk! Don't talk to strangers! Don't go outside on your own! Don't you realise, the rapists are everywhere they are just waiting for you to be vulnerable!"

More a problem with this train of thought to me is how much everyone is willing to play into the victimhood mentality with or without a valid pool of evidence. You could argue that there should be a push back with what you said, but two wrongs don't make right. A false accuser view would just hurt women reporting actual rapes and abuse as much as the handling and assumed guilt hurts men now.

The mentality of the schrodingers rapist thought needs to be gotten rid of, as well as the shoot first and ask questions later view of complaints related to abuse and sexual assault, mostly those aimed at men by women. We have a legal system in place that just seems to be ignored when women are the victim, at which point the one being accused is not only publically shamed but have their rights trampled on by a system that would rather prop up the victimhood mentality and not punish those who make false accusations.
