Mother’s day - fine.

Father’s day - sexist and devalues mothers.

Also: “Feminism is there to help men as well, be a feminist, make the world better for us all.”

Accept the above and try to talk about men’s issues in a feminist forum - get accused of derailing feminists discussing their issues and told to start a discussion of our own.

Start up our own discussion, get accused of being insecure, sexist and told that feminism is there to help us and we should discuss our issues with them.

In the end, the problem is not about talking, but the attitude.

Like, if you ask me, the biggest problem with men rape is that men themselves tend to brush it off as it is nothing. Same with abuse or violence. Therefore those guys have hard time to understand, why the equal females don't do the same. Brush it off.

So acknowledge the problem will do good to all of us!

First, that post is actually unpopular when you see the number of pro men's issues posts on that sub.

Second, no one is allowed to juxtapose identical issues experienced by men when Feminists monologue about women's issues.

Third, a common response to the second point is "We're not here to stroke your bruised ego. Women have it worse." The irony is that post is highly indicative of an individuals bruised ego whose identity is being a helpless victim.

I mean no. But many of the times they are brought up is to devalue women's problems. Like a woman can't even talk about rape without a man being like "men get raped too." I'm not even kidding. On an instagram page called "The Jane Doe Project" a group literally dedicated to female rape survivors you often get comments like "men get raped too." Like yes men do get raped but you are invalidating women's experience by bringing that up on a groups page about female survivors.

So talking about mens issues is somehow an attack to women ?
