Pretty easy to see why it rubs you the wrong way. You just have to refocus and imagine something like "Teach blacks not to xxxx", "Teach gays not xxxx" or "Teach jews not to xxxx". It is a pretty bigoted statment. Also is is not PC to say any such thing about girls so there is also the double standard. I hope that helps.

Teach our women not to teach our sons to rape.

It's basically an affirmative that males rape by default.

Majority of people know that rape is wrong yet feminists continue to scream that society somehow views it as acceptable when it happens to women. It also continues to erode the fact that women are raising these boys, which is contradictory to the feminist world view.

It sort of implies that men are born rapists that have to be taught not to rape.

This is not entirely untrue. Humans are the nastiest apes on two legs. (anyone that has children or have been a child can confirm) People do need to be taught not to rape, pillage, lie, and steal. Morality isn't natural it needs to be taught to children and reflected by adults.

There is definitely a better way to say it though.

Like "teach children not to hurt eachother."

As evidenced by the comments here, this phrase can rub people the wrong way for a variety of reasons. For me personally, it's abrasive because people know rape is bad, and not to do it. To insinuate that we need to teach rational people not to rape is idiotic, that's like teaching that murder is bad or stealing is bad.

Any rational person knows rape is bad, if someone says rape is justified or what have you, there is something wrong with that person.

What the phrase instead should be is "teach people what rape is", so everyone knows that rape doesn't just happen in a dark alley at night, that too drunk = can't consent or whatever.

Since my mother was my primary caregiver as a child I feel she really dropped the ball on telling me not to rape. Isn't it weird that she didn't do that simple thing and yet my brother and I aren't inclined to rape? I guess we're just defective males or perhaps men aren't inclined to commit criminal acts. Nah, it couldn't be that could it?
