Why are you guys doing this to yourselves? The bedroom fun ain't worth it. When you see clear signs of not worth it just give up and move on.

But think of his attachment to his kids. Thats probably what kept him there

[–]RoguePoet 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

"Her kids..." tells me they were not His kids.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Quite obviously not his kids

[–]BrokenDeity1 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When the separation comes, you're going to find out that they're her kids regardless of biological affiliation.

[–]boi-pnd 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That doesn’t mean he can’t get attached to them and them to him.

[–]LinusTechTipsSimp 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It seems like they weren’t his kids

[–]Catcrumble 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They will magically become his kids when she decides he has to pay child support or something.

[–]CrossfadeAMV 47 points48 points49 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

But this will not be included into statistics of the "woke crowd". They will always try to prove you are not enough.

Ah, and do not forget about famous "emotional labour" females do.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

All those hours whining about man-sitting and man-breathing is hard work.

[–]Odepa01 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah yes, my mom is also so helpful when she does absolutely nothing helpful /s

[–]SilkySullivan 28 points29 points30 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'll never forget when my ex father in law asked me to pay her 10k credit card bill. He said now that you are married you need to pay it. I said show me the first bill when we got married. It was $8,800. Told him he needs to put her name on it if he wants any payments. And it was premarital debt that won't be mine.

Perfect example of Briffaults Law "The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. — Robert Briffault, The Mothers. Vol. I, p. 21"

"Sure you did a lot of stuff before, but what are you doing for me now?"

[–]KneeDeepThought 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Correct- the outward manifestation of this law shows us examples like this where absolutely all previous benefit to the female gets waved away out of existence the moment it's beneficial for her to do so. This leads to the Light Switch effect where she shuts down all feelings and attachments to her previous benefactor and the Monkey Branching effect where she grabs a higher value partner. All justified of course because of Women's Prerogative, which is our society applauding women changing the deal after they get what they want.

"What have you done for me lately?" - Janet Jackson

The thing they don't tell you is that "lately" can be dialed down to the last few seconds to wipe out all previous debt and keep her in the position of the aggrieved victim.

[–]MancunianMuffin 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

'yeah but you could be doing more' is the attitude they have.

[–]idontwanttobeavirgin 34 points35 points36 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

dude just use your hand trust me it is not worth it

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You never know. Maybe she sucks like a circus sword swallower, has three-ways with her supermodel friend and does imaginative things with eels. That would be the bare minimum to put up with that list of shit.

[–]Fernwehwander 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This man was being taken advantage of.

[–]username24341 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men's household work is not valued as such in society. And the women who complain the loudest about "doing all the work at home" are usually the ones most guilty of this.

[–]Doc_Brun 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No but it says some things. Also, like alot of people said here. Just fucking leave, he's worth more than that.

[–]Bergatario 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stop dating useless women. That's the best advice one can give the youth of today. Marrying a good woman can make a massive difference in your life, financially, emotionally etc.

[–]Magical-Hummus 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Feel bad for this guy but I mean if you know she’s unemployed and gets money from daddy, just stay away. They’re all the same

[–]LancLad1987 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

My current Mrs is a nightmare for this. I installed a new kitchen, decorated everywhere else, get my daughter ready and take her to childcare every morning, wash the dishes if she cooks or vice versa, walk the dog (she refuses every time) etc. There's a million small things I do every single day that I don't tell her about. She leaves dishes everywhere, wrappers from food, clothes on the floor... think teen going through an episode. We sit down at least once a month where she doesn't think I do enough to support her and the house. I have given up fighting it now.

[–]kanniget 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Simple fix... Next time she says you don't do anything, stop doing anything.... When she complains just inform her nothing has changed because all you are doing right now is nothing, exactly what she said you had done before.

Don't let her off the hook with crap like 'I was only venting'.

If she doesn't drop the routine start the exit plans... It going to happen anyway, better to be prepared and ready for it.

[–]alclarkey 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Tell her to put down her feminist trash magazines. Constant articles about "The housework gap" will put that shit into their heads.

[–]Meto1183 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This kinda thing always bothers me..chick's dumb, move on. Don't complain about her unreasonable expectations, let her deal with it without someone working for free for her

[–]Lice138 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This man is not a victim, he is an enabler. I consider this man more of a problem than a woman who simply doesn't respect men's rights. The first step towards getting others to respect us is to respect ourselves.

Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz4WDuXXm8A very good video and it proves women CAN be understanding it's just most of them have nothing for brains

[–]MancunianMuffin 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My ex gave me 4 requirements after breaking up with me:

  1. Get a job
  2. Spend more time at hers
  3. Communicate more
  4. Learn Welsh

I was recovering from a serious illness. Had to leave my last job due to bullying. I was applying for work and I got an interview 2 days after. I ended up doing very well in this job. I ended up fully moving into hers with her family members that didn't approve of me. A foreign speaking household. I became a lot better at communicating and I was learning her home tongue too. The workplace was fully Welsh speaking as well. All different types of challenges that were very difficult on very different levels.

I did more than what was asked.

I asked for one thing off her: more understanding.

6 months later after me giving me my all in all different types of areas receiving little support from her I asked her; what was the one thing I asked from you?

She couldn't remember.

[–]FartedNervously 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

most huh

[–]realmtraveller -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She means houswork

[–]ta19871994 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What she means is “everything”. I remember my ex said something along this line. So after that, for a period of one month I actually did nothing around the house. I didn’t cut the grass, do the laundry, wash the dishes, cook, rake leaves, clean the bathroom. Changed her tune fast. If I didn’t do them they never got done. I broke up with her soon after that.

[–]realmtraveller 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So some women are never satisfied. You got a good outcome.

[–]Ahielia 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well duh, the only "work around the house" are things that women "traditionally" have done, cleaning, washing clothes, child care, etc.

Which in this case would cover a lot of it anyway, with child care and cooking, so she's just a lazy <fillwithyourfavouriteword>.
