If someone says they are something that they obviously are not, they have a mental illness.

If I say I'm a toaster, no matter how much bread you stuff into me, it will never become toast.

You don't get to choose what you are. You are either a man or woman. Male or Female. (the actual number of true intersex people are statistically nonexistant).

If some guy wants to be called Brenda, fine. Whatever floats your boat. However, you don't get to dictate that someone else acknowledges you as a woman, and treats you as such. Also, if you are obviously a man, and you have a woman's name, you are not free from questions/ ridicule/ mockery. If you're a man, and you are dressing like a woman, the same thing. It might be easier for woman to pass as a man, but the same goes for them. I've seen women trying to be men, and have seen them questioned on it... "if you're a guy, where is your adam's apple?" "Why are you so weak?" "Jack? Somehow I doubt it... Brenda"...

People need to realize that society works on the premise that others are the one's that determine how to refer to you, you don't get to choose. If you want people to believe that you are something you are not, you need to be able to convince others that you are... however, some people will pick up on the inconsistancies in the preformance and will point it out.

If you are trying to be something you are not, that's called acting. If you believe you are the thing you are pretending to be, that's delusion.

It's not confusion. It's fact. Sex and gender are biological and not something you get to decide. Anyone saying otherwise has an agenda to push.

As to your questions, if you want me to address you as Miss or Ms, but you're a guy... um no.

At home... depending on who's home depends on what is said. I'm sure that some trans person isn't going to invite people over to their house if the guest won't buy into their delusion. If it's at someone else's, it's anyone's guess. The person could say whatever they like and see what the host has to say. If it's at their home, they can say what ever they want.

As for work, be professional, but you can choose to not call someone something else if He/She dosen't work for you.

Yea, most guys will ridicule or mock a dude if he's being weak, or fat, or whatever. I've seen a fat guy get mocked by a bunch of guys for being out of breath for climbing a flight of stairs. Society doesn't like outliers... it likes conformity, and anyone that sticks out will be pointed out as such.

Most men don't give a fuck about strangers. I don't give a flying fuck what some stranger is thinking/ doing/ feeling. If they want to live their lives without impacting me, fine. You do you. BUT, if you are trying to impose your views or beliefs on me or my social group, then you will have a problem.

No actually, it isn't. If you want to understand the basics of it, it seems that there are size differences in certain areas of male and female brains, mean while men and women frequently exhibit different brainwave patterns. These patterns and shape differences have been observed enough that we have confirmed Scientifically that Trans-Genderism is real and that brains develop separately from our bodies.

People are also born with the Chromosomes belonging predominantly associated with the opposing sex.

I can understand being unfamilliar with this because the science confirming it is very recent, but is real, whether you like it or not.

We'll also have the technology soon to splice the genes and bodies of people to form their bodies into whatever they want in the near future as we've already accomplished this with Mice.

So there's variation in the size of certain brain regions between men and women (and in a few limited studies with very small sample sizes and unclear definitions of what constitutes transgenderism, this is considered relevant). Are we to conclude from this that every person with outlying measures in these regions should be transitioned? What about the other gendered markers of physiological development? Surely if the relative size of brain regions was all that was required to identify someone's proper gender, then a "female" brain would secrete female hormones and spur the development of feminine secondary sex characteristics in the identified subjects. Unless of course, the obvious conclusion is true, and relative size of brain regions is only one small component of what makes someone's brain biologically male or female.

As for your link about mice, in the ten years since it was published there has been virtually no serious discussion about gene therapy for gender dysphoria patients. The prevailing dialogue is about whether mimicking the other gender's biology through hormone treatment and surgery constitutes an actual transition to that gender, which most honest people will admit it clearly does not. You may believe that the future is certain--left wing ideologues usually do--but the fact remains that right now, you have exactly zero basis for the claims you're making. But regardless of that, even if it were true: you've identified one small anomaly (relative brain size) in a system with thousands and thousands of gendered variables (the human body). Why is no one suggesting that we use gene therapy to change the one thing that's wrong? Why is the suggestion that we change the thousands of other things to be wrong right along with it?

Okay, so you don't know how Chromosomes work and you're talking shit now? Fantastic. So here's the simple reality, the Chromosome is what determines the hormones that put out and generally help to form the body into predominantly the sex associated with it. The Brain just relays the signal to do that. However, the Brain itself is still genuinely male or female in terms of its consciousness despite this.

So, let's reiterate; the body's sex or Chromosome make up does not determine what the brain's gender turns out to be.

No they aren't. There's all kinds of debate about whether or not transgenderism is the result of anomolous brain structures. Any asshole can go to Google scholar and find a link to a single paper. Why don't you actually make the argument?

The main issue is not whether or not it's proven though, it's why people have such an issue with it. It's none of your business and doesn't effect you.

It absolutely affects me. The social justice left is attempting to reorganize all of society in accordance with this delusion. If these people had their way, it would be punishable "hate speech" to recognize basic truths about male and female biology. If I have daughters, they may have to complete with biological men in sports, change next to them in locker rooms, use the same bathrooms as them, etc. Don't tell me it doesn't affect me. That's one of many, many things you're not qualified to attest to.

Your friend probably attempted suicide because she's mentally ill. The 42% attempt rate among transgender people is the highest in any known cohort other than prisoners in Nazi concentration camps. Unless you're actually trying to suggest that the "bullying" trans people receive is literally comparable to the Holocaust, you need a better explanation for that gap. And if you are suggesting that, then you're a fucking idiot.

Tolerance is a behavior. It is appropriate in some cases, and not appropriate in others. It isn't a virtue that should be cultivated for it's own sake. No one benefits from the tolerance of things that should not be tolerated.

If you walked into a doctor's office and told them that you needed your hands and feet amputated in order to authentically live out your identity, no one would be expected to be "tolerant" of that. This is no different.

Here's why I still visit this sub.

If you look at the "Reference Book of Men's Issues", pretty much everything there is something that I think is important, and as much as this platform is frequently used as a platform for misogyny, I know of no where else where these issues are given the attention they deserve.

I know that some would recommend r/menslib, but if you spend some time there, you'll figure out that the mods there simply don't allow discussions that they disagree with. That is not to say that there aren't some great people having wholesome conversations on that sub. The problem is that their motto is: "Be the men's issue's conversation you want to see in the world", but in practice, it is "Be the men's issue's conversation that we want to see in the world", and if you don't see it the same way we do, then GTFO.

I'll give you a great example. I noticed that a few years ago, there was a conversation about alimony on r/menslib. It was a good conversation, and I thought that I had some of my own ideas to contribute, so since it was an old, archived thread, I created a new one, and we had a great conversation with great people, right? Of course not! The mods immediately deleted it and ghosted me. So if you ever wonder why there is only one conversation about alimony that you can find on r/menslib, I just told you why. :-(

BTW, I'm not really familiar with women's hate subs. I'm intimately familiar with "Gender Critical" because I was hate brigaded by them; they actually have a thread dedicated to personally insulting me and talking about what a piece of trash I am, but that's because I came out as transgender (on a completely different subreddit that they apparently keep an eye on). I've never heard of a women's hate sub recommending T_D.

I hung out over at r/mgtow for a while before I heard about men's rights.

I haven't been there is a while and OMG, I need r/eyebleach now! It's even worse than I remember from the last time I was foolish enough to go there. Heck, their flagrant sexism rivals that of r\gendercritical (not going to link them)

They have a subreddit that they've carefully cultivated to have the conversation they want and only the conversation they want, and people like us would apparently upset their apple cart. Based on what you've told me, I don't suspect that there is a sexist bone in your body, but that's not good enough for them. They want people who push a particular point of view.

I'm just saying that you're clearly a sad, insecure, little "man" to gatekeep something something so arbitrary, that you didn't earn, and would only want to hoard if it did in fact confer you certain benefits in our society, which your and my comments have both exemplified that it does. We all get what you're saying, but the thoughtful majority has decided that it's better for everyone to allow this arbitrary distinction to those who truly desire it FOR THEMSELVES so that they can feel more secure in their own bodies. I'd like you to be able to feel secure in yours as well, but this requires you to be honest with/about yourself rather than concerning yourself with oppressing other people regarding things that don't concern you.

We both know i'm not too far off. I don't want to have to come for you, but before you make shitty comments regarding your negative opinions about people you'll never meet, you have to stop to think whether your hyper-literal pedanticism is worth other people feeling personally attacked, oppressed, and excluded. I know the argument you're making, everyone does because everyone had it the first time they were like the child in the movie and were asked to think plasticly about gender. Besides it being an obvious, useless point, it's hateful. you need to mature and realize that we're all better off, and especially the historically-vulnerable trans community, if you keep that to yourself.

And I know this sub is about recognizing the few ways that society does victimize men, but in general, men have run the world and it is assumed that men will continue to, if you consider who is in the vast majority of positions of power in every single country ever. Yes, some were great and deserving, but their virtue reflects positively upon masculinity in general, leading to society's uplifting men. Yes, there aren't a ton of outlets for men to be sensitive I guess, but this sub's obsession with feminism, archaic custody trends, etc. are the work of babies in search of some victimhood, no more. Grow up and be better. No one has any patience to even hear your plight until you stop being pedantically oppressive because society tells all men they have a voice and meaningful words to say with it. I'm fucking sick of how your type makes the rest of us look.
