While this often happens and it's as stupid as this pic makes it seem, this pic is also probably shopped, and it's embarrassing that it would be taken seriously here and generate outrage
So you see a picture and you automatically believe it unless someone proves to you it's not true-to-life accurate? Your view of reality must have been made pretty amazing once photoshop was invented, so many miracles happening everywhere, and so few people willing to take the time to explain to you why some of them don't make sense.
I'm not sure how much "proof" is possible without having an original and/or having an actual pro analyze it.
Red flags from basic observation (I'm not a pro):
- No original available with an image search. Image search only finds this image, and only finds it posted on reddit in the last day, and only in communities especially prone to outrage and confirmation bias (like t_d)
- Faces are blocked for what reason exactly? To preserve the anonymity of the people walking around in public with signs trying to draw attention from everyone?
- They just happen to use identical font and font color
- Yellow-sign's hands don't match
- The shape of the yellow sign is irregular
- The text on both signs is improperly angled on the board it's "printed" on

- The JPEG has been re-saved multiple times using lossy compression, there are tons of artifacts left over from this in the fotoforensics results.
