I have 2 or 3 posts on this subreddit I think. I joined it two or three years ago when I thought, "I know there are at least a few unfair laws towards men, I wonder what other problems there are for men I don't know about?" For a while there were some things I thought were actual men's rights issues, however I have come to conclude that a lot of those things aren't and that a lot of the bs posted on this sub is straight up misogyny.

I mean seriously, why are the majority of posts either 1. Woman does crime and gets no sentence or light sentence. 2. Generalizing women as being whores/sluts/promiscuous/other sexist generalization. 3. Talking about how society is falling and everything is terrible because the woke third wave feminists are erasing history and are going to try and ruin men.

For the 1st type, which is stupidly common, it isn't a men's right issue. The reason women get lighter sentences in average is litterally initialization its misogynist not feminist. Either men's sentences should be lowered or women's increased. This could be talked about in the form of an actual discussion on how we could change this, but it always talks about it in a way that is feminist women being the illuminati controlling the government and whatnot. Another thing is: Judges and juries are trash and biased. Its not a men's right issue that some woman committed a crime against a man (unless it is expressly for an anti man reason like Kill All Men or something) and get a light or no punishment. This happens all the time to both sexes.

There are countless stories of male and females commiting acts of rape against children and getting a light or no sentence. There are countless harassment and abuse stories too. Its broken on both ends and I don't see how its a men's issue and not a society issue. Again, it'd be fine if it was to talk about corruption, but its always that somehow its all "those female's hate for men." And it never ends up in a good progressive spot.

The second type I notice a lot of is generalizing women as promiscuous like a lot of men aren't also promiscuous in this day and age and always. It's absurd to pretend that there aren't tons of countries that allow men to marry multiple women and women to marry only 1 man and that kings and queens haven't had countless concubines for all of time (that monarchies were a thing). We even have evidence than roman and Greek soldiers had gay sex slaves. Promiscuity isn't a third wave feminist thing its a people thing. Is it necessarily good? Probably not. Is it a great evil we must vanquish from society? Inarguably at least not to the degree of corruption and other blights that occur daily in America and other countries.

Thirdly, the conspiratorial bs that third wave feminism is from the elites to divide the working class (a take I've seen heavily uprooted multiple times in this subreddit), or some other brand of feminism is just to hurt and ruin men in society's mind and whatnot. No. Its. Not. Are there "feminists" like that? Yes. Are even most feminists like that? No. It might seem that way since all you do is consume content from extreme third wave feminists and also people mocking and harassing extreme third wave feminists, but the truth is you see so much of it because the algorithms see you interacting with the content and give you more of it.

Now, are all posts here bad? No. A lot of the info graphics from the tin men I've seen have at least seemingly put together statistics from various sources to create an honest topic of discussion that is immeadiately derailed by people who think feminism is out to kill them. This sub shouldn't be "waaaahhhhh women got light sentence we are going to post 500 examples of this and ignore all the examples of men doing the same crimes and getting light sentences wahhhh" and more of actual problem solving and thinking about how to fix the problems that DO exist in society.

For example, I haven't seen a SINGLE post in all three years mention anything about a topic like how a grown woman can rape a minor, get pregnant, and sue the kid for child support. I haven't heard of a single instance of this happening (I haven't looked into it either to be fair), but this is a legitimate problem that either hurts or will hurt someone some day and should be fixed. Instead I see Bill Joe complaining about a single woman he knows that doesn't like men.

And to wrap this up, if you TRULY belive that society is being overtaken by women and men are going to be genocided or whatever, I'll have you know being a sexist piece of shit isn't the way to combat that. The way to combat it is to be a good person so that you may interact with your daughter, or niece, or maybe just maybe be an influence on some random girl that will be positive and be evidence that actual extremists that want something like that will have to contend with.
