With everything you've learned and experienced by reading about men's rights issues, hearing about men's rights issues, talking to other MRAs, etc., what sorts of ways has your life been impacted in a positive way?

For me, I feel like I've gained an understanding and an appreciation of both traditionally masculine and traditionally feminine roles, and learned how to incorporate both into my behavior in much healthier ways than I had before.

To the degree that society at large hasn't taken the feminist perspective and view men/masculinity as dangerous and predatory, society at large definitely promotes the view that masculinity is ridiculous, contemptible, and deserving of mockery. To a large extent through my involvement with the MRM, I've been able to pretty thoroughly purge that notion out of my consciousness. I can see my own masculinity as a desirable, admirable trait, rather than something that makes me goofy and ignorant like Homer Simpson. I not only understand the value of being able to do things like fix a car, or paint houses, or any of the other types of "masculine" activity that I would have considered "beneath me" before, but I've also come to understand why "feminine" activities like making sandwiches for my girlfriend whenever she has manual labor of her own to do is important and valuable.

I'm now able to incorporate masculinity and femininity into my personality rather than dismissing both as irrelevant and anachronistic, and as a result of both those things, my romantic relationships have gotten much deeper and more mutually satisfying.

What about you? How has the MRM positively impacted your life?
