It will, of course, be a slow process. But, as someone wjho has been involved for twenty years or more, I can tell you there is progress, and lots of it.

At the moment we're still in the awareness-raising stage. The most important thing is to get the issues out there, so that more people realise they exist.

For this, the best tool is the Internet - merely by commenting whenever something relevant comes up, you're doing something significant. Letting people know where to look for further information is good too. Some people download stickers and posters from the net, print them, and put them up.

The next stage is forming local activist groups and organising events. This has been happening aquite a bit in Canada, and getting mainstream coverage there. A Voice For Men has a lot about these groups.

One of the most important things to do would be to compile a directory of local groups, so activists could join with others in their area. Once these groups are formed, real-world activities can be organised.
