I read comics with my 11 year old son and a guy with super strength was raped by a woman with super strength in it. He and I both cringed while we read it. The Invincibles is the name of the comic.

I expected him to cringe and was glad to see that he did. And we discussed rape after that, with it being a good conversation.

But still left me wondering, how is it we can see incredible harm done to mostly men in various comics and sci fi movies but this hit home.

I suspect is says a bit about disposability and gender, but with this being a male rape victim, that doesn't seem to align with that thinking.
