Why The Disconnect In Feminists?

Competence is expected of men by default. It meets no reward unless it exceeds standard expectations. On the other hand, competence is seen an a unique quality deserving of praise when shown by a woman. This is one of those gender biases we all tend to have, like assuming a man has more potential for violent acts than a woman.

Feminist "theory" really only puts effort into research that confirms it's hypothesis about their perceived unfair treatment, so it really only works to prove things like objectification, which confirm their biases. It conveniently overlooks things like expected competency of men or expected support from men for women as they would suggest that both man and women face separate, yet arguably equal hardships caused by gender bias, thus making neither sex oppressed or privileged over the other.

That's what I've gathered anyways. Hope this made some sense.

Standard hate movement double standard. Their world is divided into good people (women) and bad people (men). The women are trustworthy allies that are always given the benefit of the doubt because you know they're good people. The men are evil violent rapists that should be locked away.

So if anything goes down of course it's always going to be a man's fault. Women never do anything bad.

Feminists argue that all problems stem from men's oppression of women. If women bore any responsibility for their problems, that would act as counter evidence to feminists' claims. It would show that men are not all-powerful oppressors and women are not helpless victims. It would also show that flaws in feminist theory, specifically the notion that women should have it all without facing any of the consequences of their choices.

I'm convinced that the modern feminist movement is actually a misogynist group trying their hardest to make women look stupid, weak, and all-around bad.

I'm an anti-feminist because I love the women in my life and want to see them treated equally.

I can't answer. But I will tell you about my mom.

My mom, on one hand is constantly putting pressure on me to "bring the kids over" (which is fine), yet at the same time I'm supposed to be eternally grateful for every second she spends with them. Duality. It's a human thing, we all do it, the trick is to recognize it.

There are advantages to being male, like getting 7% more in pay.

There are also costs to being male, like dying in a coal mine.

Feminism is really female supremacism. They want all the perks of being male while accepting none of the costs.

One cost they refuse is the idea that men have to be rational. Men aren't allowed to le emotions rule them, and need common sense. Women arent held to the same standard. Feminists want the extra 7% in pay while rjecting the idea that they have to be rational and use common sense too.
