The issue is the explosion from Will Smith verbally, repeatedly saying "KEEP MY WIFES NAME OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!!"on GLOBAL TV, to a man just 'cos he joked about Jada, when we know she is the kind of MILITANT hardcore feminist who demands Will (and white knights like him) to be her private thugs to threaten anything she might not like.

Will, and by implication, Jada just made it 'normal' and 'okay' to behave like a thug just because a feminist might have gotten bothered at a joke by her. So her white knight cuckold thug Will Smith threatened Chris Rock.

I can guarantee you that whatever response this gets from the world media, it is NOTHING compared to what it would be if it had been a gay man doing it about his gay partner, or if the person telling the harmless joke had been FEMALE, and Will had gone and suddenly threatened HER (can you IMAGINE the outcry??!)

Its these double standards that are the reason for my post. There’s been a history of Chris Rock taking digs at Jada. Will has been through a lot these past few years and as faulty as Will and Jada’s marriage has been - they’re still together and trying to make it work - there is real love there (something that is becoming more rare). That’s still Will’s wife, and if you talk shit about a man’s wife, there will be consequences. As much as I love Chris Rock, he was out of line. Will and Chris are long time friends and I’m sure they’ll work it out. Will’s acceptance speech got to me - and I remember how everyone laughed at him when he cried about Jada cheating (even though he did the same). But the point is how people will laugh at a man when he shows emotion or weakness. Then people wonder why men don’t open up more. He said it best, “we’re just supposed to take abuse and then smile and act like everything is ok.”
