YES PAST MATTERS! Only toxic feminists (misandrists) that try to shame men into making poor choices think otherwise. Divorce, cheating, infidelity are strongly correlated with body count and sexual past. Much easier for women to cheat/monkey branch/move on with a promiscuous past. These women are best kept in the casual fun bracket.

The past matters, but unfortunately in this day and age anyone who is a 5 and above, or over the age of 30 is going to have gone through multiple men and not virtuous. They are all emotionally traumatized in varying levels so it's moreso how much you are willing to put up with because the only other option is to be alone and opt out entirely.

This is why even if you do find someone at this point, never marry because you are exposing yourself to certain inevitable risks.

That's fine, you should be with someone who's view on sex and it's importance in relationship matches up with your own. I'd only have an issue with it if you were out sleeping with half the town then demanding that any partner of your's be a virgin.

For me, I don't care as long as it's not bringing any lingering medical issues into the relationship.

I slept around a lot, I had a great time doing it and I was careful to use protection.

I don't need a romantic connection to have sex. Even if it's just a random hookup I enjoyed it in the same way someone who likes basketball might enjoy a pickup game in the park.

That doesn't mean sex is meaningless to me though. If I'm with someone who I already have a strong connection to it strengthens that bond. However, that bond is not necessary for me to enjoy it.

So if a woman has the same outlook, that sometimes sex is just good sweaty fun, I wouldn't mind at all.

Now.... If someone had a very transactional view of sex, that could be a potential dealbreaker. That's not how I look at it. For me, I want sex to be two people having fun. Not one person having fun and the other making their rent or doing an obligation to continue their lifestyle. I don't have any moral objections to sex workers, it's just not for me.

That said, I ended up marrying a woman with a number of past partners that is a fraction of my own. She also knew me when I was sleeping around the most so she was well aware of my past. Except by the time we got together, I'd chilled out on the random hookups and was looking for something more stable and long term. So for us, it worked.

Maybe start by not idolizing women and recognize that they’re human beings with lives, and pasts and flaws. To tell you the truth you’re hurting your own feelings by pushing this strict image on women you seem to barely know and get “heartbroken” when you find out they’re not like that. Also they’re not wife material for YOU. Try and find a women who had similar values to you and start with an open mind instead of projecting an image she didn’t ask you to project on her. I simply don’t get this mentality

I’d never want to go long-term with a woman who hasn’t been around the block a few times. She knows what she wants, she’s had time to get comfortable with her sexuality, she’s not going to wonder if she missed out or if she could have done better.
