AWALT does not mean what outsiders and Bloopers think it means. AWALT can best be describe with the following analogy:

I have 10 lion cages with 10 lions in them. Out of those 10 lions, 2 of them are very tame, 5 have borderline demeanors who will lash out if they get angry at something, and the other 3 are absolutely vicious who will divorce-maul you if you even show a hint that you have a juicy steak.

Now, in the middle of each cage there is a stack of cash with varying amounts of money hanging by a string. And the lion tamer will allow you to walk away with the cash from one of the lion cages; all you gotta do is open the cage walk in, climb up a small ladder, grab the cash, and walk out. And you get to keep the money.

Now, are you going to go into one of the 10 cages? If you do, are you going to be on your guard, and maybe bring a tranquilizer gun with you? Or are you gonna stroll in completely relaxed, completely safe in the knowledge that you picked a cage with a completely tame lion?

That is AWALT. Of course we know all women aren't shitty, but TRP teaches men to assume they all are until they've established a track record demonstrating otherwise. AWALT means that, no, all women aren't the perfect, infallible, delicate, innocent-by-default, little flowers that MTV and network sitcoms tell us they are. AWALT means that women are commonly just as shitty as men are perceived to be, and can be just as selfish and narcissistic, and in many case, even more so than men.

AWALT means that while a small percentage of women may be shiny needles, most of them are actually hay. TRP and AWALT teach men to stop wasting time looking for the needles, and enjoy the cheap easy sex with the hay.

The world isn't black and white, but men have a tendency to assume their woman (or desired woman) is a special snowflake who exists outside the bellcurve. AWALT combats that mindset. That's basically it.

AWALT is a state of mind.

It is a rejection that all women we meet are Cinderellas or Garden State.

As I've said many times, if you are an investor do you assume the company is as they say? No. You do due diligence.

Just like women. Even besides the fact that due to family law it is literally an investment to marry a woman, the investment is in time and emotion.

Trust is earned, plain and simple.

Very often when people say AWALT they just reconfirm Brittfault's law.

Most of the time AWALT means: acts accordingly to Briffault's law or her love isn't sacrificial or that she is hypergamous.

Non sacrificial love is a sub point of Brittfault's law and it doesn't matter why women are hypergamous everyone wants the best they can get, or settle for the best they can have. The basis is Brittfault's law and hypergamy.

Try to see AWALT as worst case scenario. You have to be prepared to deal with AWALT but AWALT itself is a spectrum, not every women is like that, but they could be.

The individual differences women have come from the degree to which a women is like that. Everything in this universe is a spectrum.

AWALT can also be used as a negative visualization, to be more content with what you already have. (more negative visualization http://i.imgur.com/JMSiUb5.jpg)

Negative visualization, this is the beauty of TRP-Philosophy, our contractors think that our view of women makes us bitter towards them (well this is probably true for some of us but those who accept women for what they are should be happier than before). Thanks to AWALT every moment with a woman is more precious and enjoyable.

AWALT also has a whole lot in common with cynicism. (Cynicism is an attitude or state of mind characterized by a general distrust of others' motives believing that humans are selfish by nature, ruled by emotion, and heavily influenced by the same primitive instincts that helped humans survive in the wild before agriculture and civilization became established.)

I'm not red pill, but functionally it seems to be not that important. Some women completely destroy what red pill claims. In fact, most women don't fit their mold that well. We can see relationships where the house work is shared, the woman makes more, and/or the guy is sensitive that seem very happy. And other examples of AWALT not holding up. I think that most red pillers know this on some level. But their evo pych theories hold for some women, and so red pill tactics work for some women. Apparently enough for red pill to become known. Take note of how often they drop a plate for being "too much work" by not complying to their tactics.

From my experience, they usually fall back on anecdotal to defend AWALT. "This women did X, just like red pill predicted" or "all women that I know fit into it". Sometimes they'll site studies, but those don't work well. For one the study usually establishes something very narrow and doesn't prove all of TRP. Secondly, and something that I always enjoy doing, the study usually disproves AWALT by having a fair bit of variance. For example I got cited a study were women rated men more attractive if told they were in a relationship. Thing is when looking at the data it's seen that lots of women rated him less attractive. It's just that on average women thought he was more attractive, not that all women found him more attractive.

IMO its just an in your face, blatantly offensive slogan designed to alienate and shut out fencewalkers who can see TRP has strong points but can't quite bring themselves to embrace it, trying to point this and that out and derail discussions with NAWALT. I don't actually agree with it but support it because its extreme and ridiculous, and I am into that sort of thing.

Basically, AWALT exists to prevent TRP from being nickled and dimed to death by lawyer types.
