Blue pill, red pill, alien pill, whatever pill you assign to yourself, let us just set that aside for now. I wanted to talk about something more important: friendship.

Before reading further I encourage you to watch this video (10 minutes). It's basically a summary/ analysis of Aristotle's view on friendship.

I generally agree with Aristotle on the different levels of friendship and how most people will unfortunately never experience the third level: being friends with someone because you love their soul.
