For skeptics: what does TRP get right?

I have been on the sub as a lurker for maybe three years now. Here are the thing I think the sub gets right.:

TRP recognizes that men struggle with issues that are unique to them and which are products of the changing social fabric of the planet. Even acknowledging the fact that these issues exist and are important is a step above many media outlets in terms of men having a voice.
They promote an ultimately personal avenue for dealing with these changes. The most generic advice is dieting,exercise, professional conduct in the workplace and self-monetary investment. Above all though, TRP promotes the concept of ownership over one's total self as the means of liberation from society's changing landscape.
TRP acknowledges that there will always be differences between men and women. Furthermore, advanced TRP advocates stipulates that feminine and masculine virtues are equally important and equally beautiful in their own way. Trying to make feminine and masculine people the exact same is a lie, and a damaging one at that.
TRP is actually a productive outlet for extremely marginalized men at risk of suicide or even worse. It accepts male anger as a symptom of a greater problem and instead of directing it against women, it directs it against the self. It allows men to come to terms with their real feelings of social isolation, rejection, depression and anger before promoting a recourse of self-improvement.

Things it needs to improve:

It echochambers itself especially at the ranting stage of many people's experience, which only prolongs the anger of new members instead of staunching it.
Its hyperbolic. In some ways this is good as it shatters the lie that modern society projects on to men. However, if these hyperbolic strategies are taken as dogma, they can become highly toxic stereotypes which are bad for self development. The blues don't like the hyperbole because its offensive, which it is, but the reason I condemn it is because it is at times unproductive.
Its tribal. Like feminist subs, it has an intense lockstep at times. In many ways this is because the vast majority of the sub are still extremely fragile egoists who are in the midst of swallowing the pill. Their feelings get hurt when you challenge their opinion, instead of following their own IDGAF advice they will lash out at times in typical bp fashion. Most people that no longer need TRP move on and do advanced reading on their own, thus they do not really stick around so the tribal part of it persists even as the sub ages.
It has an MRA tilt. Deny it as they might, the TRP community still tilts toward MRA topics at times. I actually have no problem with MRA stuff but I do not really think that MRA topics are all that RP in nature. The message gets confused as a result.

Men and women are different. They experience sex differently and have different feelings about it, they interpret things differently, they approach relationships with different worldviews and perspectives and ideas of what it means for a relationship to be successful, they show and experience love in different ways. I don't take it as far as TRP in that I don't think men and women are diametrically at odds with each other, and I don't think establishing pre-ordained roles in a relationship based on gender will work for everyone (though I'm sure it does for some people.) I also don't think the genders are as different as TRP says they are; I think there's plenty of common ground and places we can relate to each other. But I think it's necessary in interpersonal relationships to remember that men and women aren't the same, and that the other gender's way of approaching and interpreting things isn't wrong, just different.

They get right that 'men and women are different', only they then twist it and say 'AWALT!!! Men and women are different that means women are bad and men are good and things were better when hypergamy was restricted and men had their way and could marry a young virgin who would be socially ruined if she had a fling with Chad.'

That is when it degenerates. When 'different' becomes 'women should do as we say because they are different'.

Traditional conceptions of gender and the people that fit them, regardless of whether you think them good or bad, are still attractive to a lot of people. TRP doesn't get everything right about just what is traditionally masculine and feminine but they do have a point in that there are still a lot of people that care about that stuff.

I'm "red pill" but not the same red pill as the subreddit. In other words a modern PUA, where TRP's roots lie.

What TRP does right:

A lot, especially in the broad strokes of self improvement and game. I can't hate on them too much. There isn't much TRP advocates that is BAD for you. (Minus the obvious or illegal stuff that sometimes gets posted.)

What TRP can improve:

Without getting into the baroque details of modern game there are a few REALLY key things.

More emphasis on taking action and approaching women TODAY, and not some obscure time in the future when you have a good job or some shit. Learn women like you NOW and benefit NOW.
Less emphasis on looks. I'm sorry but saying that women like six packs is not some fucking hard truth no one accepts. It's true but it's blue pill as fuck, straight out of maxim magazine advice. Get a six pack bro! And it tends to be more pie in the sky "one day!" shit that is a distraction from you taking action and approaching today.

It gets most of it right, they're just fucking neckbeards on the subreddit and I enjoy making fun of them. Also they seem to like sperging out over everything and the way they describe women's lives is so wrong.

I don't think the red pill get anything "right." I think some of their positions start off on the right foot, but quickly go into misogyny. For example the notion that men are generally shat on in some aspects of life, particularly the emotional aspect, however, it takes that and quickly goes into crazy sexist land.

There is nothing from the red pill which is correct.

I take issue with the tone and motivations of TRP, but ignoring those things, much of what is said can be constructive:

working out
dressing better
building confidence
etc.

Things along those lines. The problem is that it approaches those things for the wrong reasons or with assumptions that are eventually self-defeating.

There are also better places to get that advice; r/malefashionadvice, r/fitness, etc.
