This is something I’ve notice that’s a bit of a catch 22 or a lose/lose situation for short/small men in the dating arena. They’ll complain they can’t get a date or that women aren’t interested in them, so the usual advice they’re given is to workout, make more money, or improve themselves in some way to make up for their height. However, if a shorter/smaller man does excel in working out or earning good money (or self improves in some other way or is assertive), he’s often accused of compensating and mocked as having little man syndrome. Most of us at some point in our lives have heard someone say “oh he’s just compensating for his height, he has little man syndrome”. So which is it? I don’t see how there’s any way for a shorter guy to win. If a tall guy self improves, he’s applauded. But short guys are just compensating?
