Sorry

TL/DR

Basically there are studies that women seek out neither alpha nor beta/dominant not submissive traits but a combination of both. Not only that, what makes someone 'dominant' might be attractive among one group but not in another, and does not necessarily make for sustainability (think the Vikings and why they are no longer with us, think why a CEO of a company can lead a company but would get fucked to Oblivion in prison).

The trait that is most attractive and sustainable is 'prestige' which is a combo of dominant and submissive traits.
