The Red Pill is pretty clearly a reactionary phenomenon, and anyone who ever took a look at their gathering places quickly understand the average terper tend to embrace a hard right word view.

But beyond the demographic, TRP is for many the first time they finally understood how sexual dynamic operates. How men and women compete and collaborate within themselves and the other sex to their own sexual benefits. It makes all the inconsistencies of mainstream dating wisdom clearer.

Of course, because these truths are mainly visited by conservatives, they tend to infuse their ideology into this otherwise sound and rational praxology.

But there’s a progressive case for TRP. There is a way to pursue the advance of prosperity and equality of men and women while acknowledging these truths.

It would be way easier to analyse and fight ““toxic masculinity”” by acknowledging its roots in sexual competition. But instead of that, current progressives have come up with a new machismo and ironically mock insecure men while claiming to not understand why they don’t want to appear weak.

And instead of fighting reality and try to pretend, for exemple, that women are somehow way less shallow than men in their partner choice, a progressive TRP argument would be that for a set of reason, women care about looks and status a lot and that there’s nothing wrong with that given that society seems ok with men being mainly concerned by looks and not caring about achievement as much - which is not necessarily good.

A red pill mindset frown upon clingy and creepy nice guys or men hung up about one particular woman. And that’s liberating for everyone.

It also emphasizes the importance of fatherhood, of the presence of a wise masculine figure in the life of a child. It makes men understand that they shouldn’t take their partners for granted.

I think the philosophy behind TRP, as a study of human behavior is totally progressive-friendly it they were to actually analyze it.
